  1. Good Afternoon Friend 🙂
    Have a fantabulous Sunday!
David Guetta & Afrojack – Dirty Sexy Money feat. Charli XCX & French Montana has an amazing artwork. I am enjoying the song. Thank you!

  2. Happy GLYSB Eve🥳💃🏼🎶 Have you started building an ark yet, with all the rain? I hope the Sun peeps out here and there🤞

Couch Sittin Duty and chalk fetching awaits 🙄🤦🏼‍♀️I’ll be hoppin along🐰⏳

    1. Hey Grandma – thankfully we had a break today, although having said that the day started off glorious then we had a serious shower, then it was overcast and muggy for the rest of the day. I was out in the garden from around 1 – 7 – so at least l have made a serious gardening start to the season 🙂

  3. Pumped Up Kicks – while for one moment we loved it … but now I can’t take it anymore at all… because I associate it with school shootings 😝😔💔😢

It makes my stomach turn to hear that song 😮😮 I instantly think of all our horrific school shootings 💔

None of the other songs were in my 2010 era 😮

    1. Hey Trisha,

The songs on this post are from a more Indie orientated genre and so not many will have heard of all of them.

Pumped Up Kicks, yes was very controversial and at the time many were was all for saying ‘it’s the melody not the lyric’s that are important’ but of course there is still that sinister undertone that makes Pumped Up Kicks as draw worthy as other songs like it ‘l shot the sherrif, hey joe and bohemian rhapsody all songs about killing people.

I remember reading an interview where upon Foster always maintained the song was more about mental illness in teenagers as well as their youth culture …. but sometimes people decide other things about groups and artists and songs that the groups , artists and songs themselves are not always promoting.

Hope you had a great Sunday 🙂

      1. Yes I have seen his interview and know the history behind the song …

It still makes me uncomfortable to hear. It just instantly makes me remember those school shootings

And at my school twice we almost had shootings – both students were arrested and charged.

Just not something I am comfortable with – not with children.

They can say whatever they want about songs or that song … it just bothers me… I can’t listen to that song without the first few notes making me instantly think of all that

Ps I don’t like those other songs about killing either ✌️
