  1. A very good morning Rory and hope you’ve a great Sunny Sunday. I’ll be answering your questions in my post. Thanks

  2. Interesting about the Del-Satins – I have never heard of them – Dion and the Belmonts, sure. I read the wikipedia entry on them and I know the other groups they were – The Brooklyn Bridge and The Crests…I always liked Dion – but then we’re from the same place – Da Bronx.

  3. Good Morning JB! Or good afternoon, to you actually. Hope you’re having a great SunnyDay 🌞🎶💃🏼

    Quickie, eh?
How do you like your sausages – straight, curved, short, long, fat or thin or do you not even like sausages?

I like my sausages however they come

How often [under normal circumstances] would you visit a hairdressers/barbers in one year?

Zero. I haven’t had a proper cut & style in at least 10 years. I or a daughter trim myself🤷🏼‍♀️

What is it specifically do you think about humour that makes you laugh – as in ‘what’s so funny to you?’ Why do you laugh at some things and not others – what is the magical ingredient for you?

I like absurd, ridiculous… some slapstick, puns, my sense of humor is pretty strong. I laugh a lot. Sometimes things just ARE funny, for no apparent reason.

If you were convinced you had seen an alien or a UFO [from another planet] how would you make people believe you or would you not tell anyone?

I’d tell a few people. Daughters, close friends. I wouldn’t have to convince them. They’d believe me… or not. I don’t need validation from others. I’ve seen lots of things others can’t or haven’t seen.

Do you know what your place is in the world – where you fit in – and is that important to you?

My place? Peasant to HRH! I am also the emotional center for my family. Other than that I’m just another goofy gal, trying to make her corner of the world a little kinder and bring a little joy.

Is it important to you to get ‘noticed’ or are you happy enough to just be seen and is there really a difference do you think?

Seen, noticed… don’t really care. I exist in a bubble of oblivion most of the time.. I don’t pay a lot of attention to how others react to me. That’s why I do little dances while I’m walking, or in the grocery store with my cart.

I’d rather be HEARD, than SEEN… if ya know what I mean😉💌💌

  4. How do you like your sausages – straight, curved, short, long, fat or thin or do you not even like sausages?
    Interpret as you wish ….
    -Dislike them all.

How often [under normal circumstances] would you visit a hairdressers/barbers in one year?
    -Two or three.

What is it specifically do you think about humour that makes you laugh – as in ‘what’s so funny to you?’ Why do you laugh at some things and not others – what is the magical ingredient for you?
    -Wordplay.

If you were convinced you had seen an alien or a UFO [from another planet] how would you make people believe you or would you not tell anyone?
-I would never believe I saw it. They’re all from various government agencies.

Do you know what your place is in the world – where you fit in – and is that important to you?
-I fit in because I was born, same as everyone else.

Is it important to you to get ‘noticed’ or are you happy enough to just be seen and is there really a difference do you think?
-Usually I prefer not to be noticed in real life. Online, I like to get attention for my writing.

  5. The mimosa caught my eye. It’s very pretty but very different than what we call mimosa here. The flowers are pink and feathery like a truffula tree. They will bloom soon and are beautiful when they do. Grand music this morning. Have a super day, Rory ☺️

    1. Mimosa is not so much a native to Texas though is it? It all gets very confusing at times l feel, but more detailed when in Latin over that of common 🙂

Have a great day Suzanne 🙂

  6. Hey Rory! Hope you’ve had a nice Sunday so far.

What a nice variety of music today! I would think everybody would find something to like. The Featherlies were really groovin’ to the first two, Sh-Boom and Let’s Go, but just sat there rolling their eyes at each other for the rest of the line-up. Do you think they may be partial to Rock and Roll? 😊

    6 Quickie Questions
How do you like your sausages – straight, curved, short, long, fat or thin or do you not even like sausages?

    Vegetarian

How often [under normal circumstances] would you visit a hairdressers/barbers in one year?

    None

What is it specifically do you think about humour that makes you laugh – as in ‘what’s so funny to you?’ Why do you laugh at some things and not others – what is the magical ingredient for you?

I have a strong sense of irony. Sometimes things happen that are so extraordinary as to be ridiculous, that if you tried to make it happen on purpose it would be impossible. And I often laugh at my own foibles. However, I do not think anything that could cause pain to another being, or damage, funny. Nor do I think sarcasm, criticism or hurtful words or actions funny.

If you were convinced you had seen an alien or a UFO [from another planet] how would you make people believe you or would you not tell anyone?

I have seen a UFO and was with another person at the time who also witnessed it. So, we validated the incident for each other. I’ve never discussed it with anyone except family members. The particular siting was reported by the local news to have been seen by many others in that vicinity, as well.

Do you know what your place is in the world – where you fit in – and is that important to you?
Is it important to you to get ‘noticed’ or are you happy enough to just be seen and is there really a difference do you think?

I feel my purpose is to be the best version of myself I can and I strive to do that.
I used to wish to be invisible, I was so shy. As I’ve aged, I’ve come to realize other people’s opinions belong to them and have nothing at all to do with me, so I got over that.
It doesn’t matter to me if I’m noticed or not, but I wouldn’t want to do anything to set a bad example for the youngsters, just in case they are watching.

Wishing you a quiet, peaceful night and wonderful week ahead, Rory! 😊

    1. Hey Betty, some intriguing answers in there indeed ‘oh UFO observer’ 🙂

The featherlies, my goodness, but they are a hard crowd to please hahaha.

Hope you are all having a great Sunday 🙂

  7. Hey Bruce, hope you’ve had a pleasant day!
    1. I like thick sausages, thin ones are not as filling. I prefer straight but it depends how they end up, sometimes a little curved 🙂
    2. Considering I’ve not had my hair cut in 3 years, not that often haha!
    3. Usually it’s everything that really isn’t appropriate to laugh at that I find the most funny, but you know me I laugh at anything.
    4. Are we not already surrounded by aliens?
    5. Honestly, I don’t know. But what I do know is that I was meant to be Daisy’s mummy.
    6. As I don’t like being the centre of attention, I wouldn’t like to be noticed. But I am happy enough to be seen.

  8. I like turkey in my sausages, my hair cut three times a year, the unexpected in my humor, aliens on my camera phone, my place at the dinner table, and being noticed.
