        1. Everyone is quick to blame the UK – and yet, l think sadly there might be some truth to it.

Not just sloppy administrations from quarantine centres but people not being honest with symptoms or experiencing them.

I overheard a conversation out here the other day from two women, one of them was comnvinced she had covid, but wasn’t going to abide by any self quaratining ….. that’s the sort of attitude that cauzses huge problems.

This is not going away because it is something people get and people think they know better. People only die once … that’s the learning curve.

        2. Over here most people have realized how dangerous this variant is and finally we are seeing some sensible attitude from them. I hope the vaccination drive overtakes the spread of the disease.

        3. The problem we have is that this man made disease is quick to adapt to change and with people’s ignorance and arrogance they are encouraging the spread.

People just don’t get it. they don’t understand the importance nor the deadliness of it.

        4. That’s true, but over here they are seeing the deadliness of it first hand and now are becoming more careful.

        5. I know, precisely, l was talking to Suze about it only today and yet if anything untoward was to happen to them …. they would scream murder!

  1. Happy Saturday, Rory! I love my tunes 🙂 🙂 and Pretty in Pink… from one of may all time favourite feel good films. Thank you for making my day even better.

  2. Good Evening 🙂
    Happy Hakuna Matata Day.
I always enjoy this song and the movie. Thank you for the song. 🙂

    1. Excellent, l too once spoke to her many years ago when she was touring and she stopped by the Civic Hall l was managing the catering to.

      1. Good for you!! I haven’t allowed myself a day off from walking yet. I know me… another few weeks and the habit will be strong enough😉 I did take a shorter walk yesterday.
It’s good to take it easier sometimes. 💌

        1. I have had a rough week with my stomach also so decided that l needed to try and stabilise my gut health, there are other ingredients causing me a lot of trouble. Like maize in a cracker, l have just spotted the manufacturer have switched another ingredient over.

That’s clobbered me most of this week.

Thankfully l have the treadmill at home to serve as an indoor backup.
