  1. 1. No
    2. I’m not afraid of changing anything in my life I just can’t physically do it – the mind is strong, the body is more than a bit broken.
    3. My memory is, unfortunately, phenomenally good, long and short.
    4. Neither –

  2. Do you find if you are feeling low that changing the colour of your clothing that you are wearing at that time lifts your spirits at all?

Nope. Clothing colors don’t affect my mood.

What would you do with your life if you weren’t afraid to do it?

Run away from home!! I’m not afraid for me. I worry for Ben… he still needs me.

How good is your long term and your short term memory?

I can vividly remember many things from the 70s and 80s and 90s into the 00s, then it gets hazy. Pain & the meds, stress from DV from the ex, Fibro and life…
    Ummm… what was the question??

Which is more important to you today friendship or family?

That’s kinda complicated. Family as in Ben & my girls will always be priority. Other family comes after some really good friends who I love like family.

  3. Morning, Rory!
    Yes, clothing affects my mood.
I would move to Norway but it’s too cold there.
Short and long term memory – so far so good.
I don’t have any family except for my hubby and he is very important to me.

    Have a fab Saturday!

  4. Hello Rory.
I’m pretty stuck in my ways with clothes; as long as I’m comfortable I’m happy – which usually means familiar clothes.

I’m also happy in life, having sorted it out over the long years. I don’t want to change anything.

Both memories are good on details apart from times and places; I know I should have written down when and where things happened. Also, I’ve since read how unreliable memory is. We have false memories and we can’t tell those from the real ones. That’s a peculiar fact of life but why worry?

Family has always been important because I’ve always had a close extended family of grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. And now we’ve got grandkids! Friends are important too.

    1. Interesting points about the memory Ian. I recall reading an article about fictional memory as opposed to realistic memory.

I have found that many of these articles relate to detailed memories or memories where details are are an absolute requirement. Eyewitness memory accounts are often seen as the most unreliable.

Stress can also be a leader towards poor memory and false memory.

But then isn’t really all memory merely an ilusion to help us get through 🙂
