Have a totally fantastic day folks!!

This weeks Brisker 25 gallery is from Monday to Thursday and contains images from both the morning and evening walks combined. Sadly, Thursday was the last walk l managed to take last week due to 1] falling ill on Friday but more importantly and 2] a total prevention of any walking was the severly heavy rains that we have had since Thursday night almost non-stop now as l create this post Sunday evening. The time now is 10.30pm amd it’s been raining hard since l got up at 7.30am this morning!

The seagull is a baby, who at the time was quawking for his parents to come and find him – baby’s always get lost and l see them mostly walking rather than flying – [when did seagulls get so lazy?]. The young Moorhen isn’t the only occupant in the image, if you look closely middle left hand corner you can see a giant rat looking over the top of the bank – it was really huge!

The Ramparts is changing with the arrival of autumn and l should imagine if l manage to get out next week some of the very images displayed here will have changed enormously with the rains and the winds from this weekend alone never mind the season!

However, for the moment l hope you like the moments that l managed to capture from last week. See you next time.

    1. Hey Kritika, hope you are well – actually l agree they are cute, they are so helpless at this stage and yet so loud! I think l would hate being a seagul parent as you would never stop worrying!!

    1. Hey Chris, in truth whilst l am feeling better – chipper isn’t the word l would use – but heydy ho πŸ™‚ Here’s wishing you a lovely Monday.

  1. Buenos dias (good day) Rory!! Thanks for the refreshing bit of Bowie with my morning coca-cola! Beautiful photography too, and yeah that rat is HUGE. O_o Lordie! I’m glad to be far from any creature like THAT!

  2. Happy BusDay to you!πŸšπŸ‘‹πŸ’ƒπŸΌ After the morning rush, I’ve been relaxing and the ever popular “trying to get caught up”πŸ™„πŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸ˜‚
I love your pictures! I had a seagull visit and wait for the bus with me this morning. One seagull… 17 miles from the ocean… it’s my friend.πŸ˜‰
    Glad you’re on the mend!

Oh, email received… I’ll gather and reply soon.

    1. Wow, that says something spooky as well though doesn’t it? 17 miles inland a seagull … mm, it sounds an awful lot like the canal rats coming across into the twonside as opposed to the countryside of life.

      Excellent πŸ™‚

      1. The seagulls hang out at the landfills too. There’s one that’s northwest of where I live.
I always only see one. 13-14? years ago, a single seagull kept me going while I was bedridden.
