Well A Jolly Good Morning To You Melanie, Lauren, Tazzie and Sadje – now what can we play for you today? Are you all gimmee, gimmee, gimmee on anything in particular? Are you willing to take a chance on me and my selections for you?

You’ll not be sending out an S.O.S for further assistance will you? The name of the game this morning is …. not just one for me, or one for them, or even one for us, but six for you making it a round one of us, no l love doing it, you don’t have to thank me for the music…..

Have a totally awesome day!

The gallery this week displays how autumn is really starting to make its presence known – the leaves are falling in plenty now, morning’s have a fine mist. Squirrels are gathering up food stores for the coming winter, although there is still a lot of playfulness to be seen. I love the colours of this season, l love seeing the leaves change from natural green and cycling through a vibrancy of browns to golden russet and rusts it is quite delightful.

We have been enjoying astonishingly warmer days than normally seen for this time of year … but then, this hasn’t been your normal year either has it?

But with the September morning and evening walks the beautiful rays from the sun have shown a new splendour all of their own too. I recently received an email asking when the next Walks in Time will be? Soon – l had one planned in for last week, but due to being unwell l put that on a hold for a while.

  1. ABBA and a Neil Diamond song… that’s some good stuff!💃🏼🎶 ABBA takes me back to the the skating rink, and my younger days. Horrible clothes, fun music.

    Your pictures are stunning!
It’s been super hot here the past few days. 94-103… ridiculous!
I hope you’re feeling better🤞 Give Suze my best wishes, and give yourself a hug from me!

    1. Ha ha oh so true – horrible fashion but great music 🙂

Glad you liked the photos 🙂

Thanks for all hugs and well wishes and always back to you and the clan too 🙂

  2. I love ABBA. Thank you so much for a trip down Memory Lane… Songs and music from the 70s (whew! So long ago now..) Barry Manilow. Rod Stewart. Of course Bob Seger. The 90s? I’m listening right now to “Welcome To The Neighborhood” by the remarkable Meatloaf…such a good album! Cheers Rory!

      1. Kk pops up in all sorts of odd places. For a bit there was a remarkable country music group called The Highwaymen. Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson and Kristofferson. Great sounds and some very unexpected themes. The lyrics of “Born and Raised in Black and White” and “American Remains” are worth considering.
