Have a totally fabulous day folks!

Welcome to The Brisker 25 feature – once a week round up of some of the best images l have captured during my morning walks!

The gallery above displays some of the unseen images from my morning walks – as a youngster l had a love for architecture and Sandwich is filled to the brim with a diversity of different builds, styles, ages and antiquity of materials. I am fascinated with the way the landscapes can change across rooftops – which is why you see a few shots of St Peters Church.

Dead Fish by Frank Todd

The fish above is not my image, but l have seen dead fish in the moats sadly.

In the last ten days or so, the desilting dredging process of the Rampart moats has begun again. It originally began as a project in January of this year, but stopped work due to the lockdown. Now they have started again with an emphasis on The Rope Walk Rampart where an awful amount of fish are turning up dead due to the heavy silts in the canals. The fish are dying from a lack of oxygen.

Thanks for reading.

    1. Morning Ribana, indeed the dead fish is quite upsetting. This morning as l walked along that particular part of the Ramparts – the closer you look, the less romantic it is 🙁

      Have yourself a lovely week.

  1. Poor Fishys cant breathe either☹ The Kootie, police knees on necks, silty water, fires … nothing can breathe.🌎🌍🌏

Great bunch of songs🎶💃🏼Have a good afternoon JB🌊🦄💫🧸💌
