Tuesday was a seriously rough day for me and speaking to Suze – she was the same – quite understandably – the sheer overwhelmingness of it all – l noticed it on the morning walk yesterday – the sudden deflating almost of my very essence and that feeling of sadness stayed with me mostly all day.

I struggled with my blog scheduling and the Walks in Time post which usually takes a couple of hours to prepare due to the image upload took me almost six hours to complete. My concentration levels were simply shot. I had to busy myself with more hands on practicality chores. I retired last night around 11pm as l just didn’t have any energy to do anything else.

So here’s hoping today will be better ……

  1. You’re exhausted, JB! You’ve been running on the ghost of fumes for a long time… 9 months… Take it easy on yourself, do what you need to do.
    Suze has a rough road ahead, and you’ll help her, but you gotta take care of you too.

    1. Hey Grandma, l know you are right – l am close to the end of my reserves of energy – fatigue is hitting me now – l need a break, we both do – but l am tired.

  2. Hope it’s a better day than yesterday. Angie is so right. You need to regroup and get some restful time into your schedule otherwise this hard trek will be even harder. Hugs and healing thoughts for Suze.

  3. Good morning Rory. I understand completely what you mean about yesterday. All day I felt like it was a Monday. I was gloomy and just right out of sorts. Generally the way I feel on Monday. Monday now I had a Tuesday (regular) type of day. Maybe our bodies got confused and we will all be back on track for today. Have a good day. 🙂

  4. Awww 😔 I know it’s hard. I know those emotions. And then I also know both sides of it… going through it yourself… or watching someone you love go through it… You feel helpless and want to be there but it is emotionally exhausting on both sides!!

    I’m sorry. I’m glad you share here – will take a little bit off your shoulders and you could also help someone else who can relate or also going through that.

    Just take it day by day. And don’t forget to breathe, release it – and is ok to be upset or down.
