Have you ever asked yourself … ?

Have you ever asked yourself ...What Do You Want From Life?

You know today l was walking through Sandwich and ‘mooching’ around the shops looking for particulars – btw – l got the cutest bear doorstop from an antique shop for a mere Β£15 – he is a fifty year old bear, so it was a bargain, but he is just an adorable bear!’

The sales assistant and l agreed he was cute and l said well his name would now be Abearable Bear on account of him being adorable and he will now be the mascot to The Living Den [or what shall be called The Livin Den’. I will write about him soon enough – but his story is quite slim – his new adventures will begin with us.

But as l was walking through town l overheard a conversation from a father to his son … just snippets – but one ‘snippet’ caught my attention … “Have you ever asked yourself …. What do you want from life?’ I am still pondering on it and l shall ponder awhile longer as l do and as is my way – but l ask you all now that very question.

What do you want from life?’

  1. I want to learn new things. I want to help wherever I can. I want to laugh.

And I want to run away from home in about 10 yearsπŸ˜‰

I don’t need material things. I’m content as a person. I hope to keep going as I have been, learning and laughing and helping when and where I can. I’m a pretty simple gal.πŸ˜‚

    1. I think you are right Lauren – l would go even one step more and it is why l never just wanted to answer in the post directly – l like to get my priorities thought out – for me l want my life to mean something more and so whatever is achieved will always be important as long as l have done everything possible to make my life mean something more to me.

Living by the beach however is a lovely thought indeed.

  2. If I can spend the rest of my life surrounded by those that I love, then thats all I ever hope for. I’m not going to say a happy life because, from my own experience, my life has changed for the better after learning to accept the bad things that have happened. πŸ’š
