The Huge Hug Club
23rd June 2020
Last in the current series.
Back again for a group hug – how are we all doing?

So gang, here we all are again … and how are you today as in now? Our last group hug was seventeen days ago and oh my how the world has moved on since then eh? All for the better? Mm.
I am ok, just busy, non stop busy – the fact that the world has opened up again still hasn’t directly affected me as of yet – l haven’t really been out of the village that much since the 23rd March and last week viewing my new property was my fifth time out of the village since March 23rd.
The lockdown didn’t change much of my life directly – although indirectly the lockdown meant that Suze worked from home more and l suppose had she not been at home would the events of the 15th April really become a thing? Maybe not, but somewhere this year l feel they would have surfaced … it was on the books whether we, she or l knew it to be, it was heading this way .. so working on that premise, better for it to happen now than later.
I have been busy downscaling and packing up the garden and the house. Suze gets her keys for her property on the 1st July and we will start the motions for her move out shortly afterwards whilst my keys are to be picked up on the 6th and l will start that move after that. July l feel is quite possibly going to become the most draining, straining and spraining month of the moves mentally and physically. All of the movements ongoing have taken their tolls on both of our bodies so far and l know the gardening has really knackered me – but my zen is high and that’s all that’s needed to continue.
I am behind in mostly everything in terms of blogging and reading and make my apologies now to my readership – but l will catch up and let’s be honest when am l ever not behind eh? I could quickly tick 100+ blog posts and pretend l have read them like many do and make people think l have visited but not commented … BUT that’s not me and l think it’s dishonest – sorry if that affronts some of my readers who do perform that – but l like to visit and read, comment and like so l am always behind. To my readership – thank you for your patience with me, it’s always appreciated.

Ah Suzanne, thank you – that’s the best answer to describe it all – l shall adopt that from now on 🙂
😊
Thank you for all your lovely posts. They bring joy to my day. I never even considered liking a post I haven’t read. That is the joy of this worl, reading blogs and enjoying what others write. Don’t push yourself too hard. Somehow, things always get done.
Hey Lauren, many thanks – have yourself a terrific Wednesday 🙂
A lot of people sadly do simply like posts without reading for some reason it has always seemed defeatest to me and insulting to writers – but hey very nature of the world at times 🙂
And a huge manly hug to you sir.
🙂
The tree and snow man is an amazing prank. 🤣🤣 Enjoyed it.
Hugs
Aww thank you Rory, much appreciated! Ironically, I’ve had the Macarena stuck in my head the last few days and just managed to get rid of it… until I just saw it now 😂 have you ever read the english translation of the chorus?
No, l haven’t but l will now 🙂
Always a pleasure Ami – you keep well 🙂
