I respond to Awards very differently to the ‘norm’ these days and no longer use the term ‘nomination’. This is not meant to be read as derrogative to the creator of the Award in question as l am always grateful to receive Awards as l am not an Award Free Blog but l am not comfortable with the typical presentation of WordPress Awards so use the term ‘Gifting’
The Awesome Blogger Award
I don’t know who created this particular award which is a shame as l always like to credit the creator – sadly however as is oft the case for many awards as they pass through the game of musical chairs in WordPress and many formats of response – details can be lost. So if any of my own readership know the creator please drop me a comment below so l can thank them.
Below are the actual creators ‘Rules’ should you wish to comply with those – however below that is how l will be responding to this particular award – so you always have choices.

My sincere thanks to Tazzie of Echidna Home for her gifting of this award to both myself and my blog. Thank you Tazzie, despite the way l respond to awards these days l am always grateful to receive them and appreciate the kindness of those whom gift. If as of yet you are not familiar with Tazzie’s blog – then why are you still here? You can either hop skip and jump over to check out her writings now or after you read my answers – but whatever you do – make sure you do visit Tazzie’s blog – it’s lovely.
Tazzie writes about her life and l like reading reality lifestyle blogs when l am not so far behind my reading that is. Reality lifestyle blogs are happening – the words are on the pulse of today, the honest heartbeats of another’s life sits open and you can explore everything about them in a true fascinating style. Go and say hello to her – she only bites on the weekend – so as it’s a new week you are safe!
Tazzie’s 10 Questions
What makes you You?
My uniquity makes me me- l don’t deliberately try to be different – l am already different to others and all l do is cultivate that and specialise and fine tune it. The reality is everyone is different when they are by themselves, they let themselves down and display their flaws however when they are mixed with society or are trying to please society. You see it here a lot at times, those who want you to believe they are different – but the truth is they are more afraid of standing out that being different.
Don’t misread that – to a certain extent we ALL do that – but as an example if l say l am going to live or even write and blog by a certain ruling – then that is what l do – l try to not deviate that style because that style is what makes me me.
What music makes you dance?
Well the answer lies in what type of music is being played … ? However, being trance, rave, garage, jungle, anything with a solid beat gets my feet tapping and after that the body follows on.
What would you say to your 12 year old self?
Look where you are going!
How would life be different if you were not blogging?
That’s almost like an implication into some devious! Ha ha – if l wasn’t blogging, l would still be writing somewhere else with everyone saying ‘You need to start a blog!”
If you could be an animal what would you be and why?
A porcupine species – honest, friendly but spiky and cynical.
Do you snore?
Yes. Apparently it is like someone under water though.
What are you most proud of?
There are many moments when l have been pleased – but l think the ultimate one is basically getting to the age l am today and not being dead already. Surviving the darkest days your mind can throw at you is a merit of strength.
What made you laugh out loud last?
Quite a few things over the weekend, whilst clearing out the shed with Suze. But more recently was literally this evening – today is my seventh anniversary with Suze ironically and we were talking about our first date!!

Do you have a favourite quote and if so what is it?
Mm, toughie – to choose one quote amongst thousands … ok, here it is:
Robert Frost 1954:
“In three words, I can sum up everything I’ve learned about life. It goes on. In all the confusions of today, with all our troubles . . . with politicians and people slinging the word fear around, all of us become discouraged . . . tempted to say this is the end, the finish. But life — it goes on. It always has. It always will. Don’t forget that.“
“In three words, I can sum up everything I’ve learned about life. It goes on.
