The Really You!
Season 1 – Game 16
What is or who is The Really You? No, really, as in really you? Who are you really? That’s basically what this game is about – who are you – who is – the really you!
Every week – just three questions – about you to tell us!
What’s your most favourite time of the day? – Now you can answer this with your quietest, your most productive, your most fun, busiest and so on, that’s your choice.
Two favourite times, one for productivity and one for being busy. I am most productive writing wise 8am – 11am and l am most actively busy 11am – 3pm – now having said that if l am having to stay in due to weather – then the best time is 8am – 3pm for productivity and 7pm – 1am chill out time, reading and research. The quietest time of the day for me is usually 11pm – 1am.
What are four things you are continually grateful for?
The moment my head touches the pillow in bed, knowing that day is over and my brain can take it easy and recharge …. oh how l love that! That l have my motivation and enthusiasms for each new day wake up pretty zestful, that Suze comes back home safe and sound every night after work and that my brain can still imagine and create and believe in the impossible.
How patient are you as a person and have you become more so as you have aged or less so?
Patience is not passive; on the contrary, it is active; it is concentrated strength.
Edward G. Bulwer-Lytton
When l was younger and by this l mean in my late teens to early adulthood [so 18 – 25], l was considered overly ambitious and impetuous and l have to say that wasn’t the case – what was the truth is that my peers worked much slower than l did and wanted to take all damn day getting things done and l just wanted to get the tasks done, but l was patient with them.
As l have aged, there have been times when l have become frustrated and irked and it is always with people this happens … two leggeds are just so thoroughly irksome and l am more patient than l should be and again people think this is because l am ‘slower’, and it’s not that – it is simply l have no wish for unnecessary conflict – so l am patient.
People also think l am overly cautious and l am not, l am being wise and taking my time to decide and not rushing things – as they say ‘patience is a virtue’.
The Taurus is notably prone to being called a ‘plodder’ because it looks like we are just always so easy going and reticent – we are not plodders – we observe and then act – we pride ourselves on our patience – at times like a team of oxen – people need to just understand that being justifiably explosive is NOT poor patience – it is because of our ability to be patient’ that we take more crap on board than most and it’s when we can no longer do so – that we erupt!
So there we go folks!
Three basic The Really You questions for you …
… now it’s your turn!
If you create a post with your answer please do remember to add a ping back to this post – l am currently not getting all the links and so sometimes l never see your responses, so a manual link in the comments also helps out – Cheers Rory
