    1. Hey Sadje, good morning to you have a fabulous inspirational day too 🙂

What do you mean by a ‘lullaby’? I know you mean song, but l don’t know what a lullaby is … isn’t that a good night song?

  1. Morning from Texas Rory 😊 I try to be a regular reader of the series. Haven’t been so good lately 🙃 I love everything about it! The quote of the day, the music, the happy greetings, the feel of community. I hear my favorite songs and discover new ones 🎶, all good and good 😊

    1. Hey Suzanne, it’s always great to hear from you. You have been quiet of late ‘is everything alright with you still?’

So at a push what songs would you like to hear? Favourite decade, artist or group and how about something special for New Year’s Eve?

Let me know, also let me know how you are too 🙂

      1. Thank you Rory 😊
The 80’s is my favorite musical decade! Pretty much Anything from the 80’s 😄 I’m always hard pressed to think of what I’d like to hear 😂. Do you know what’s funny? Sinatra and Nat King Cole always make me want to paint. I’m not sure why 🙃. AC/DC! Chad Kroeger and Santana do a great Into the Night. Miss Caro Emerald is a fun newer voice, singing A Night Like This. I Think We’re Alone Now, by Tiffany…I think maybe? Janet Jackson. Morris Day and the Time, Jungle Love. You don’t have to do all of those. They’re just a few that popped into my mind upon asking 😊

        1. Well hey! That’s an excellent listing Suzanne and one l have just copied and pasted into my ‘readers’ like sheet – so thank you 🙂

I know l can weave those into a lot of entries between now and the end of the year 🙂

  2. Good Afternoon JB! I hope you’re humping along nicely😉 Great song line-up! That Simon & Garfunkel, I’d never heard it before… today is younger daughter’s birthday and she was born at 3:30am… not a perfect fit, but close. Even some of the lyrics… “watching her sleep”… nice😍

I’m creaking about trying to kick my ass into gear this morning. Errands put off yesterday shouldn’t be put off again🙄

    1. Hey GM 🙂

I only heard a few times before, but it is indeed a great song – l am doing my best to hump along as we all at least try.

Yes, l too have errands – but at least l hand delivered the five Christmas cards ha ha 🙂

  3. Thank you, that was wonderful! I enjoy most music – don’t have any real favorites now, though when I was young, I did. Neil Diamond, Paul Simon, Herb Alpert, Santana, to name a few. 😊 Wishing you a great day, Rory!

  4. “Her mind is Tiffany-twisted
    She got the Mercedes Benz
She got a lot of pretty, pretty boys
    She calls friends
How they dance in the courtyard
    Sweet summer sweat
    Some dance to remember
    Some dance to forget
So I called up the Captain
    “Please bring me my wine”
He said, “We haven’t had that spirit here since 1969″
And still those voices are calling from far away
Wake you up in the middle of the night
    Just to hear them say”
    Guitar waoo 😍
Love the song Hotel California. 😊
