Welcome to Season 3

What is the point? What is the point? I simply don’t get the point not now, not before and probably not ever …. except, when finally the point makes sense!

There is ALWAYS another way to think!

Rory Matier

***

The whole point is to live life and be – to use all the colors in the crayon box.

RuPaul

Lyrics

Where do we go when we go from here
Feels like a circle around me while I wait for more
Know that I wanna know where I follow you
Don’t wanna go down the street where you once came from
And I wanna know

What’s the point of doing anything
If you’ll never notice
I would sit and wait for you again

A line of boxes in an open field
There’s a million empty and there’s one for real
Do you want me to go search in each all of them
Or just lay on the grass and act and pretend
That’s what I wanna know

What’s the point of doing anything
If you’ll never notice
I would sit and wait for you again
What’s the point of doing anything
If you’ll never notice
I would sit and wait for you again

Then you came to me and you said
I was not really sure enough how to feel
I pretend like you’re not real
Then you came to me and you said
I was not really sure enough how to feel
To pretend like you’re not real to me

What’s the point
What’s the point
What’s the point of doing anything
If you’ll never notice
I would sit and wait for you again
What’s the point of doing anything
If you’ll never notice
I would sit and wait for you again

  1. Cool song choice. You tied this one together nicely.

Using all the crayons… hmmmm… do we use some colors more often? Too much? Are they shorter than the other crayons? Are there some we haven’t used at all? Why not? 🤔

Its cloudy and supposed to rain (with possible flash floods, cuz of course🤦‍♀️) and I think the grey weather is making me introspective.

      1. Very true about the crayons, the lights, the elevator, etc…
We DO gets floods. It hasn’t rained here in months and months, the ground is hard. Plus the storm drains get clogged up with trash and leaves and homeless camp stuff. It just depends on how much rain falls over how short a period of time.

The drastic switches between high pressure and low pressure have been really unusual. Its generally more of a transition than 90F and high pressure one day and 72F and low/rainy the next. Oh, but climate change is a myth… and we’re back to the crayons😉
