What’s creepier than just plain creepy? Well, l would say creepier that is based on real time creepy, spooky, disturbing or just plain ‘down right ‘orrible events …our top ten line up here, are films based on real life events …prepare to be properly creeped out! So pick up your cushions OR a salt shaker!!

1 – The Shining – 1980

The Stanley Hotel

Jack Torrance (Jack Nicholson) becomes winter caretaker at the isolated Overlook Hotel in Colorado, hoping to cure his writer’s block. He settles in along with his wife, Wendy (Shelley Duvall), and his son, Danny (Danny Lloyd), who is plagued by psychic premonitions. As Jack’s writing goes nowhere and Danny’s visions become more disturbing, Jack discovers the hotel’s dark secrets and begins to unravel into a homicidal maniac hell-bent on terrorizing his family.

Sarah (Elizabeth Olsen) is working with her father (Adam Trese) and uncle (Eric Sheffer Stevens) to renovate an old family home to prepare it for sale. Long vacant, the house has no utilities, forcing the trio to rely on battery-operated lanterns to light their way. Sarah becomes separated from her relatives and soon finds she is trapped inside the cabin, with no contact with the outside world. Panic turns to real terror as the young woman experiences events that become increasingly ominous.

Sara turns to a priest for help, and the ghosts are seemingly banished — but Matt’s condition takes a sudden and unexplained turn for the worse, and the lives of Sara and the rest of her family are endangered.

9 – Primeval – 2007

Veteran reporter Tim Manfrey (Dominic Purcell) lands possibly the worst assignment of his life: Travel to the African country of Burundi to locate and capture the world’s largest crocodile. Dubbed “Gustave” by the villagers, the croc is said to have dined on hundreds of humans over the years. Complicating matters is an African warlord who is even more bloodthirsty than the giant reptile.

10 – Borderland – 2007

Ed (Brian Presley), Henry (Jake Muxworthy) and Phil (Rider Strong) are three American college graduates in search of wild times in Mexico. After a night of partying with two local women, Ed and Henry realize that Phil is missing. Joining forces with an ex-cop, their search for their friend leads them to a horrifying encounter with cultists who practice human sacrifice.


So there we go, ooooooooher – spooky or what or perhaps NOT? I remember the days of ghost hunting, and one of the reasons l stopped was because some things started to get really REAL!

    I seen that movie Primevil not to long ago in the end the war Lord got eatan my gostof for being stupid, you don’t go screwing around with a 25 foot gator that has a tast for human blood.

    I don’t care what anyone has to say the paranormal is real !!!
