Questions 7th October 2019
Social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat) a good thing, a bad thing or a mixture of both?
I think if the mediums are used well and not abused then they are a good thing – of course WP is also a form of social media is it not? The same can be asked and raised about blogging in the same breath and more so especially as some social media platforms are trying to extend their users ability to stay longer, write more and interact with the communities. Social medias in the purest banalist forms are a pain and a bane but they are also again a gain.
Are you camera shy or do you pose for the camera with confidence?
I am not camera shy, l just detest 1] having photo’s taken of me and 2] taking photos of people. I have more images of things, animals the sky than l do people.
Is there anything you’ve kept from younger years for sentimental reasons alone?
Mickey Mouse at centre and Henry Bear to Mickey’s left of all my friends these two are very, very dear to me as this post explains.
Yes, l have very few tokens from my yesterdays, but l do have Henry Bear and Mickey Mouse which l have requested be buried with me. Henry Bear is 2 years my senior and Mickey Mouse is the same age as me. Additionally l have two books from when l was young – Smokey Joe the Fish Eater by John O’Grady a book that makes me sad every time l read it. I have had that in my life since l was 11, and my Bimbo and Topsy book by Enid Blyton which l have had since l was 7.
Do you like to decorate for different holidays?
Suze likes to decorate for Christmas, and that alone is a very quiet affair now that the grandchildren are either down under or grown up. But that really is the only one that is decorated for …. if Suze didn’t do it, l wouldn’t – l don’t decorate for anything…………….. although we have dallied over the prospect of decorating for Halloween this year.
Do you feel you’re a strong person character-wise? Also, if you do have a gratitude thought or picture you’d like to share, please feel free! The world can always use more positive vibes!
Am l a strong person character wise – yes l am … l am much stronger than l give myself credit for many a time but l am a pillar of strength for those who need me to be when they need me to be.
Thought…. never think you are too small to make an impact, you would be surprised to see what you can achieve once you decide to do something positive.
