Welcome to September 20th, 2019 and to Fandango’s One-Word Challenge (aka, FOWC
It’s designed to fill the void after WordPress bailed on its daily one-word prompt.
I will be posting each day’s word just after midnight Pacific Time (US).
Today’s word is “Gregarious”
Write a post using that word. It can be prose, poetry, fiction, non-fiction. It can be any length. It can be just a picture or a drawing if you want. No holds barred, so to speak.
Once you are done, tag your post with #FOWC and create a pingback to this post if you are on WordPress. Or you can simply include a link to your post in the comments.
Inuendo On the Floor!
Personally, l have always found them to be …
… quite social events, l said to my mate …
Who was known professionally,
As first rate …
…and slick and by all accounts, quite quick!
He knew, like l, what to do when on the floor,
Of the disco, or nightclub,
Behind the door,
…at the back of the pub,
He knew what to do and where to do it,
As well who to do it to too!
No fooling Nick who was always lickety split!
Which is why the ladies liked his special brew!
Because they knew,
He knew what to do too!
We did laugh about Greg though,
Who was somewhat confused,
About what was expected and when to let go,
… and what to do if his load was disused?
Me and Nick,
…. well we laughed, it was just hilarious,
He considered us both quite nefarious,
We said that’s the beauty of being adventurous,
It’s all precariously gregarious!
