Introduction
I use the term gifting, and no longer use the word’ Nomination’. This is not meant to be read or interpreted as derogatory to those who created these awards originally.
If l gift this award to you, you do not have to answer any of the questions unless you so choose to do so, you do not have to further gift out if you do not choose to do so either. Please – there is NO need to feel awkward if you decline the gifted compliment, l’ll not be offended.
Whilst there are many variations of TMBA doing the rounds – there is always a mixture of the original rules. Whilst l will always answer the questions asked of me whatever the number, l will ONLY ever ask 5 questions maximum of those that l gift to, as l think that is not too excessive. In addition to this, l will only gift the award to three blogs.

3 Things About Yourself!
13 Weeks ago l gave up a 37 year smoking habit and l am still smoke free. I am very pleased about this – yes l vape, albeit 0mg liquid, but l no longer use nicotine strength liquid and l am on target for quitting altogether sometime later this year.

My Mojo dropped for a lot of August due to both Suze being ill and in hospital and Scrappy as poorly as she was/is. However Suze is now home and has colour to her cheeks and we are rebuilding her. My mojo is now back and we are as a family unit starting on our journeys again.

With my shoulder now on the mend, and my ability to write long content again, l am able to start a few of my other series up again and this week ‘Stories and Tales’ will be making its appearance after an absence of some three months and the first story will be for Paula of Light Motifs II
Lisa of Lismore Paper created a superb Graphic banner for the series directory.
Beckie’s 5 Questions
What are your aspirations in life?
To start a joint business with Suze, to buy our own house, to train up us an Autistic Life Coach as a personal conquer all inner fears for me and to basically enjoy my life again.
If you had $/£5000, what charity would you donate it to?
I donate monthly to five charities these being The Shark Trust, The Dogs Trust, British Heart Foundation, the RSPCA and Cancer Research UK – so l would split the money equally between them.
What is your favorite kind of music to chill out to?
Well l am currently working to this ….
… this is the genre of music that l listen to each and every day. It calms me and keeps me stimulated at the same time.
How would you rate your experience on WordPress? 1 being lowest, 10 being highest.
As an overall experience, l personally would rate it as a 10. I have had very few bad experiences in WP and of the few incidences there have been in the last couple of years they are nowhere huge enough to warrant being concerned enough to complain bitterly.
Have you gained real friendships through blogging?
Of course this is one of those questions that always causes some debate – as in real life friendships to online friendships – however l think it all comes down to personal interpretation of expectations with regards friendship in the first place. I rate ‘real life’ friendships as a messy sex encounter which isn’t even worth spending the night with whereas with regards online friendships l enjoy these a lot lot more.
They are much easier to maintain, sustain and manage and the rewards are much higher. Now let’s put that together with the word ‘blogging’, and l would have to answer honestly and say – YES, l have gained ‘real online friendships and as l don’t rate real life friendship that highly and consider that form of sociality overrated, then blogging friendships are seriously ‘genuine’.
Sorry the simple layman answer to the question is …yes.

My Five Questions
Are we losing the art of listening in comparison to simply hearing?
How often do you openly discuss with friends or here in WP with your readership topics that make you feel uncomfortable or may be taboo or stigma laden?
Do you think that these discussions should be freely discussed and written about more?
Did you have a nickname as a child and if so, what was [or what is it now]?
Why is there still ‘stuff’ we simply just don’t understand despite our progressive world?
Well done staying smoke-free!
Hey Ashley, thanks 🙂

I loved all your answers, especially who you would donate the money to. A 5-way split, very kind.
Hey Beckie 🙂
Brilliant Mr M. I’m glad to hear that Suze is home. Also brilliant that you have given up smoking, well done. It isn’t easy to quit something that you’ve been doing for that long! I wish you all the best with that. Thank you for nominating me. 🙂

Another pleasure Angie …mm, that may not read right ha ha ha … l always have this strange thought when l answer with “Pleasure [Name of reader]” and l think rather boyishly oooher!! Perhaps it would be different if l was answering with Pleasuring Name or My Pleasuring Name ha ha 🙂
It’s perfectly fine. I’m a fan of bawdy humor😉
