Three cowboy movie stars from the silent era — Dusty Bottoms (Chevy Chase), Lucky Day (Steve Martin) and Ned Nederlander (Martin Short) — are fired when one of their movies bombs. In what seems to be a career-saving offer, young Mexican woman Carmen (Patrice Martinez) offers them a high-paying gig in her village. The three jump at the opportunity, expecting to do their typical act, but Carmen believes they are really heroes and asks them to rid her village of bad guy El Guapo (Alfonso Arau).

George Banks (Steve Martin) and his wife, Nina (Diane Keaton), are the proud parents of Annie (Kimberly Williams), but when she returns from studying abroad and announces that she’s engaged, their whole world turns upside down, especially that of overprotective George. From meeting the in-laws to wedding plans with an over-the-top consultant (Martin Short) and his flamboyant assistant (B.D. 3 – Innerspace – 1987
A scientifically miniaturized marine unexpectedly finds himself floating around the body of a hypochondriac, and trying to outwit saboteurs who want the device that shrank him. Attempts by his colleagues to retrieve the little man – protected inside a tiny submersible – are hampered by the would-be thieves.
4 – The Three Fugitives- 1989
Lucas (Nick Nolte) is a former bank robber who, after prison time, has given up his unlawful ways. One day, inexperienced criminal Ned Perry (Martin Short) holds up the bank Lucas is visiting. But, when a detective (Alan Ruck) mistakenly thinks Lucas is in on the job, things take an unexpected turn.
5 – Father of the Bride Part II – 1995
Just when George Banks (Steve Martin) has gotten used to his daughter, Annie (Kimberly Williams), being married, she announces that she’s pregnant, making him an impending grandfather. Shaken by nearing this new milestone in his life, George soon has to process even more surprising news — his wife, Nina (Diane Keaton), is pregnant too. Reeling from these revelations, George gets help from the eccentric Franck (Martin Short), who, conveniently, has moved from planning weddings to baby showers.
6 – Mars Attacks – 1996
A fleet of Martian spacecraft surrounds the world’s major cities and all of humanity waits to see if the extraterrestrial visitors have, as they claim, “come in peace.” U.S. President James Dale (Jack Nicholson) receives assurance from science professor Donald Kessler (Pierce Brosnan) that the Martians’ mission is a friendly one. But when a peaceful exchange ends in the total annihilation of the U.S. Congress, military men call for a full-scale nuclear retaliation.
