Mystery Blogger Awards

Introduction

I write up these awards differently from the usual routine of acceptance therefore l now no longer use the term ‘nomination’ in any sense or variation.

I use the term ‘gifting.

These awards are not true nominations, they are one stop awards. Now this means, that if you are gifted by me, you are under no bound obligation to gift it forwards yourselves and can simply accept them as the gifted compliments to your blog that they are.

You do not have to answer any of the questions unless you so choose to do so, you do not have to further gift out if you do not choose to do so either. Also should you choose to decline the gift, please do not feel as if l am offended, l am not – my GIFT to your blog is purely a compliment.

l greatly reduce the amount of bloggers l choose to gift the award to as so many of my own readership maintain ‘award free blogs‘ and l greatly respect the time considerations they too might be under.

I love receiving these gifted awards, but as my blog has grown and as such evolved, l find that the awards more or less stay the same, they don’t scale – they remain exactly the same. Therefore whilst these awards are superb motivators for new writers and bloggers alike, more veteran bloggers do not always have the time to complete the guidelines to these awards. Sometimes they will answer the questions and may pose further questions, but the bigger your blog becomes and the busier you become personally maintaining it, time is always in short supply.

This is in no way, shape or form meant to be read as derrogative towards the creators of these awards, just my layout is my interpretation.

Mystery Blogger Awards

My sincere thanks to Beckie of Beckie’s Mental Mess  , Sadje of Keep it Alive and Fisher of Men for their gifting of the Mystery Blogger Award to A Guy Called Bloke and K9 Doodlepip blog.

Thank you all . Scrappy and l are always overjoyed to receive these great compliments and l can only but apologise for my later response, however l have finally caught up with my awards bar one. I am sure all of my own readership are already all too well aware of all the above blogs – however if as of yet you are not, then my advice is to hop, skip and jump your way over there, drop by and stop a while, and become more acquainted with these great bloggers.

Five Questions Thrice

Fisher of Men did ask 10 questions, l will only answer 5.

Beckie of Beckie’s Mental Mess

If you were to have one wish come true, what would it be?

That in my remaining years l achieved everything l set out to achieve.

What is the least favourite thing about yourself that you wish you could change?

I don’t really have anything that l consider my least favourite aspect, l have lived a full life and as such everything that l have acquired to date, physically, mentally, emotionally on so on, is now firmly part of me, without it, l would not have been able to be who l am.

What was the last funniest thing to happen to you?

That l was called a wanker for photographing Suze when she had just completely soaked herself washing her hair.

What was your favourite subject in school?

English, it helped that l fancied my teacher, but additionally l have always loved words even from young at around 3-4.

If you could have dinner with anybody (Dead or Alive) who would that be, and what would you like to ask them?

You know it’s funny the amount of times l am asked this question, and despite that l don’t really have any inclination to have dinner with anyone special or not, family or otherwise and ask them anything. I have dinner with Suze and ask her all sorts of things, and have dinner with friends when l go out and can also ask them all sorts of things and have all my questions answered, but apart from that, l have no inclination.

Sadje of Keep it Alive

What is the most important thing/ person to you?

Suze and our 4 legged furchild, Scrappy.

If you were made the Queen of England for a day, what would be the first thing that you would do?

Kick the living crap out of the politicians for screwing up the United Kingdom so very badly and betraying the people that put them into their positions of authority and power and trusted them to get at least something right – except even the QOE cannot do that.

Name three things that we need most in today’s world?

Respect, passion and understanding.

Do you believe in fate?

Yes

What is your ideal way to spend a holiday?

To basically chill out and relax and do what ever awards me that.

mystery

Fisher of Men

Asked 10 questions, l shall hand pick 5 only from the line – up

What has been the greatest and worst advice that someone has given you in life?

Best advice ‘Things Take Time’ to worst advice “You can trust me!”

Who inspired you or motivated you to be you?

I inspire myself and my life inspired my inspiration.

What is your favourite word?

Eclectic.

Finish this sentence fall down 7 times, “Get up 8!”

I don’t always drink but when I do, “I am the first one trying to call the Mothership to pick me up and take me home, as l didn’t sign up for this!”

My Five Questions

Tomorrow is the end of humanity. What destroys us?

If you try to fail, and succeed, which have you done?

If your best friend had murdered someone would you help bury the body?

What was the weirdest, strangest and most mysterious phone call you ever took or made?

Ying, Yang, Yong, Yeng and Yung, which is best that describes your personality and why?

mystery

So there we go, my sincere thanks to Beckie, Sadje and Fisher for the compliments you have gifted to both Scrappy and myself, thank you all once again. It is always appreciated.

  1. CongratZ on your 2k!
I’ve started optimizing my schedule, too. Even though 2 weeks ago my plan was to do it like you say – hour by hour, I have not done so yet. Too rigid. But maybe soon.

    1. Many thanks for the gratz 🙂

I have been working with time sequencing for about 6 maybe 7 weeks now, and finally last week l cracked the code which helped me enormously. It is rigid to a degree, but quite flexible, it is reflective on the workload for the day itself and how much output is needed to achieve it.

But, working with up to 10 different configurations as l was, l am pretty confident now, l had to try and reach a balance between output/input with the blog and incorporation of engagement vs. publishing, that’s HARD lol 🙂

But l finally caught up yesterday, and now have the right config l think for the ratio 🙂

"Hey, Thanks for reading - please feel free to leave a comment".
