Howdy folks!
“A hug is a form of endearment, universal in human communities, in which two or more people put their arms around the neck, back, or waist of one another and hold each other closely. If more than two people are involved, it is referred to as a group hug”
The Huge Hug Club is a new feature for this blog, and came around through a recent conversation where we agreed that everyone needs a hug. So our hug club is basically a group hug – a big bear hug for the community! Now of course we don’t have a pair of long stretchy hands – but we do have a long reach in so far as how we react to this hug.
You know it is suggested that those of us on the autism spectrum don’t like hugs – well of course l cannot speak for everyone on the spectrum, but l do like to receive a hug – which bear in mind is way different to a cuddle, l am not giving you a cuddle, l am just giving you a hug – because everyone can do with one of those.
If you should feel so inclined also to joining in and to offer out someone a huge hug, then do so! I will be in time making up a Huge Hug Club icon which you can then pay the hugs forward to who ever you want to as well.
Today l award the following with a Huge hug!
Melanie of Sparksfromacombustiblemind
Jay-lin of The Wonderful and Wacky World of one Single Mum
Kristian of Life Lessons from Around the Dinner Table
I will award out five huge hugs tomorrow – So come on now! Who wants a huge hug?
