Do you like scented pens?

Snifty Pen Travels

I use these pens all the time, they write great and they smell fantastic. The scent lives longer than the ink. These are a black ink pen.

That’s right this is a full five set of scented pens from Snifty.

If interested then all you need to do is the following …. email me at the address below:

aguycalledbloke63@gmail.com

Title your email ‘Free Snifty Pens Please’, Inside the email say a quick hello and supply me with an address that you want the pens ‘scent’ to and voila – l will pack them up and send them to you. It doesn’t cost you anything, l cover the postage.

The Snifty Pen Story

SNIFTY

Some of my readers already know the history to these pens and why l have them, many do not. When l receive emails from readers requesting the pens, they say “Thank you what a great idea and way to have these pens tested”. These pens are not being tested. Snifty is an established brand based in the United States. The pens l have are ‘promotional pens’.

I ordered just under 1000 of these pens back in 2015 – at the time l paid Β£700 for my 900 quantity. I was in the process of launching a new business called Classic Eggshell Moments, this name should ring a bell with some of you especially if you read my ‘Topical Posts’ series, where the designs for Classic Eggshell Moments are displayed. My business was to be a Tee Shirt + Fashion online business using a retailer based in the Isle of Wight which specialised in environmental clothing otherwise known as ‘eco-wear’. Fashion made from Bamboo products.

One of the features they offered to new clients was the inclusion of promotional goods from their client’s business to their branded products. In other words, my designs were printed onto their organic tee shirts, they would ship them off to the buyers and they would insert my promotional goodies free of charge alongside my ordered designs. Great l thought when l read this. So l ordered my 900 Snifty pens to be part of my promotional freebies to my buyers of the tee shirts.

However that did not travel to plan, due to the Isle of Wight company running behind the launch of their business by a year and when they did launch, they no longer had this concept, it had vanished and so l was then stuck with 900 assorted scented Snifty pens. Suze and l could use a few but no where near 900 privately and more so as these pens have a relatively good lifespan to them with not just the ink, but the scent too.

Last year when l was running competitions in the blog l offered these as prizes. Not everyone wanted them as prizes and also l recently dropped the monthly competitions, so l decided to give them away. When you request these pens from me, l cover the postage and the packaging – l do not expect anything for it.

On the side of the pen is the name of what my business was at the time www.classiceggshellmoments.comΒ  which should redirect you to my blog here.

Once the pens have expired and we are not yet there, l will be ordering a new promotional giveaway gift to support the blog and at that point the new gift will be branded with the blogs name.

So there we go , the history behind the pens.

My designs are still available but only through Redbubble these days.

Thanks for reading.

Rory

The five scents are:

Vanilla Cupcake

Coffee

Chocolate Chip Cookie

Tropical Fruit Punch

  1. I don’t have enough words to thank you Rory! This is really unbelievable! Thank you very very much! I’ll always be grateful! 😊☺️ Cannot wait to receive them 😊

    1. Absolute pleasure Ribana – not a problem – hope you like them, in fact if you like pens and pencils, you will love these. I have been using these since l first got them in 2015. Suze is an ardent fan of strawberry and always has one with her, as well as she uses them for work.

They really do smell great πŸ™‚

        1. Super, will look forward to it, they’ll be posted out Tuesday as it’s a bank holiday tomorrow and the local Post Office is shut πŸ™‚

  2. That’s such a sweet and cool idea, Rory πŸ™‚ You can add me to your list… I love sending stuff to other bloggers too, and it is nice to find something else than bills in the mailbox from time to time!! πŸ˜›

    1. Hey Cyranny, great, drop me an email, you have my email – just let me know your home addy, and l will post them out Tuesday to you πŸ™‚

    1. Well Email me Sarah at aguycalledbloke63@gmail.com and include snifty Pens in your title and l will email you back, however if you would like a full five set, the easiest thing to do, is to email me at the addy l have just given you, tell me your home address and l will send tem out to you direct πŸ™‚

  3. I have 4 out of 5, so you can add Southern California, if you haven’t already. I’m only missing the coffee one. Always missing my coffee… LOL! I do love the pens. The scent lasts but isn’t overpowering.

    1. I should imagine it’s the process in which Snifty use to scent their pens in the first place Goldie. There is no mention of it on their site.

  4. Pens. Because writers must write, scratch their heads, bite or tap for the sake of nothing much to say, the usefulness of pens grows with every passing second. Unfortunately my obsession with writing instruments tipped over into a problem requiring a 12-step program with anonymous membership and a promise to give myself over to a higher power should my wallet open for yet another must have to add to one of my huge boxes, small cases, or mid size desk holders I will find myself in huge trouble. There’s a moratorium on pens right now. I would show you my pen collection in a series of photographs but it’s just too embarrassing. My favorites lately the set of Prismacolor 128 hue ultra thin marker pen set and my Micron .10 thin archival quality black ink pens. Of course I keep a cadre of back ups and I am very territorial about them. I’ve owned several of the scented pens in past days but as a stepmom you’re not allowed to have your own writing instruments off limits to the tireless hands of the young lads who believe
β€œmi purse et su purse.” They’re all out of the house now. The scent of color wouldn’t make it out of my pen greedy hands. But I do think spreading the love to those less pen-rich is completely appropriate and I will only warn, these are gateway pens and lead only to harder stuff, like Mont Blanc.

    1. Hopefully it will be soon Ribana, they were sent out two weeks ago there abouts and the maximum they can take is five weeks, with a good minimum of four πŸ™‚

          1. I’m so so excited Rory! I couldn’t have a better surprise waiting for me to be back from my mini vacation 😊 I love them all! πŸ€ͺ😊 Thank you! Thank you!

    1. Okie dokie, l think l may still have the address you gave me before, if l still have that, would you like me to send you one to that address? if not, just email me with the addy you want it sent to πŸ™‚

      1. I still go there once a week to pick up my post. The work I do nearby, might be finishing soon. I think I will only be there up to my travels down under. So I might have to find another place to have my post sent after that – because it is a little bit off the beaten track for my general paths around London.

      2. But I have not done anything to deserve one!

    1. Hey πŸ™‚

No of course not, l think the location that may be too far is quite possibly the moon , so on those grounds – India is fine πŸ™‚

    1. Hey Beckie, drop me an email to this addy with the title of l would love some scented pens, and inside the email, please drop in the address that you want them sent to Beckie, l have a couple of trips to the postal office in the next coupld of days so l will slot you in πŸ™‚

    1. Hey Saania, the only place l don’t send them is where l can’t πŸ™‚ Where are you?

The Moon, Mars, Jupiter completely out of the question, but most world wide locations are easy enough πŸ™‚

        1. Kat, price is fine it is roughly the same for many countries – l have sent to the USA, Canada, India, Singapore .. and they were all the same price postage wise.

I will not deny that postage costs money because it does. I don’t get much change from Β£20 sending out half a dozen envelopes, but it’s my choice. Of course provided Suze does go to Sydney and by this l mean l hope her bloody daughter doesn’t change her mind, but she could bring them across πŸ™‚

          1. I’m happy to wait and see if Suze comes out – hopefully her daughter won’t change her mind! Either way is totally okay with me.
Is Suze’s daughter a bit like that is she?

            1. She can be at times. It’s not always her, but she is the mother to three kids and her hubby is not always around to take on his role as babysitter. It should go ahead, but in case it doesn’t l have to make sure all areas are covered πŸ™‚

      1. Awesome. I just emailed , but I think I might have sent it twice by accident.
Care to guess where in the world I am? πŸ˜…

          1. Hi Rory, I got your pens today in the post and they are absolutely lovely, with quite intense fragrances. I love the chocolate chip cookie one!!! πŸͺ Many thanks for sending these through!!

      1. I do if you count the fact that everything I own β€˜belongs’ to my kids!! I was writing as a recommendation to others. I just texted her and they are still scented and that’s impressive!

        1. Well, you can do that any time πŸ™‚

Bag Lady Cheryl wants to send me something from Wyoming and l can’t think of anything just yet – but as soon as l do l will be the first to let you know – still at the same home address?

          1. I’m taking #2 son to see #1 son en route to see Princess PITA. The chance of making it there with any pens is like a cream cake making it through a weight watchers meeting!
