  1. You know, it’s interesting, but recently I read that ‘blogging doesn’t PAY’. One can write and write and write, and network until their eyes fail and their hands fall off, and still they won’t realize any great wealth from doing it. For a good portion of bloggers, the CONTENT IS “king”. If it’s not interesting, I’m not going to stop and mess about with it, either in comments or even in reading the whole thing. Maybe I don’t have any ‘avid’ fans, but apparently I’ve got a steadily growing audience. Which is good enough for me. Thanks for sharing this Rory, it’s always good to see different perspectives, isn’t it?

  2. Hey Melanie, l think it ‘s a good post, for a lot of different reasons – there are always different viewpoints about a topic.

I see this post from three angle, from the reader, from the writer and from an advertising point of view.

All three viewpoints have something solid to pay homage to with this post.

Content for many is King, and yet sometimes have you noticed how poor content is wrapped up in gloss, people read it see it’s poor and move on. some content is quality and hidden away in dross, no one goes there because it doesn’t look appealing. So good content at that point is irrelevent the answer is to get balance.

So this is an interesting post from my perspective as all three of those viewpoints 🙂
