The Versatile Blogger Award

The Versatile Blogger Award –  VBA

5 & 6

My sincere and genuine thanks to both Ribana of Popsicle Society and Jay-lyn of The Wonderful and Wacky World of One Single Mom  for their gifting of this award to me and my blog, thank you ladies, always appreciated.

If as of yet you are not yet familiar of either Ribana’s or Jay-lyns blog, my advice to make a bee line directly for them now, or if you wish to read on, then most assuredly straight after. You’ll not leave empty headed nor disappointed as both have wonderful blogs with lots to offer their readerships.

Award Guidelines

If you are gifted, you’ve been awarded the Versatile Blogger Award.

Thank the person who gave you this award.

Include a link to their blog.

Gift and notify 3 bloggers for the Versatile Blogger Award  that you’ve recently discovered or follow regularly.

Finally, tell the person who gifted you 5 things about yourself.

My Notes

l will gift a total of five writers/bloggers as l have two VBA’s gifted to me.

l have opted to handle these awards differently – this is not meant to be seen, read or interpreted as derrogative towards the creators of these awards themselves as that is not my intention.

I no longer use the term nomination, l only use the term ‘gifting’, this is because these awards are not nominations, but stand alone awards.

You are under no obligation to respond, there is no need to further gift the VBA out to others should you not wish to. Please simply accept my gift to you as the compliment it is.

What is the Versatile Blogger Award?

The VBA principally is about supporting other bloggers, it’s about community and if nothing else – we can all agree that WordPress is about community, about the freedom to express ourselves through our craft, our skill and our talent.

When you consider gifting a fellow blogger for the Versatile Blogger Award, consider the quality of the writing, the uniqueness of the subjects covered, the level of love displayed in the words on the virtual page. Or, of course, the quality of the photographs and the level of love displayed in the taking of them.

Honour those bloggers who bring something special to your life whether every day or only now and then.

My Take

I happen to like this particular award a lot, l like the concept and what it stands for – my interpretation of the term versatile means diversity, neurodiversity, variety, resourceful, adaptable and flexible and generally all rounded. But furthermore l see it with not just the blog, but more importantly with the writers themselves and with that criteria, that is how l decided to gift this award out.

5 Things About Me

Blogger Reviewer and my In-Blog Life Podcasts will be launched to the blog in the Autumn months this year, maybe slightly earlier.

When asked what my top three animals are people who only think they know me very well always say “dogs, dogs, dogs!” That’as wrong! The reality is l love all animals, but ask people who know me very well and they will say “Dogs, Porcupines and Meerkats/Prairie Dogs!”

If l could l would write 24/7/365

Some people say l am incredibly complex and the reality is simpler, l am not – l have always said to people that l am as open as a good book, but if you don’t know how to read a good book, then you’ll never be able to read me.

I find it very hard at times to think of things about me, that haven’t already been written about in my blog and therefore are unique.

I am gifting the VBA to the following bloggers….

Suzi Tench of My Colourful Life

KK of Finding French Charming

Saania of Fun with Philosophy

Ruth of Don’t Eat It Soap

Lisa of Lismore Paper
