1] Blog Name
2] What is your blog’s specific genre?
“A blog which inspires people and sharing opinions. Even if the life of single person is changed positively through my writings I would consider my purpose for blogging is accomplished.”
3] How old is your Blog?
“My blog is 1 year and 3 months old. I shared my First post on 15th April,2017 on Relationships which I reposted again later on.”
4] Why did you feel the need to start an actual blog?
“Expression in any form is very important. From the very beginning l had a lot in mind to share and discuss with people. Some times through debates or through elocution. But I felt the thoughts were not reaching the large number of people with adequate response. Then I thought of starting a blog where I could reach the mass not only in the form of my thoughts but would also gain knowledge on what the world says. Though my decision to start a blog was quite late, maybe due to lack of knowledge.”
5] What age were you when you first started to write?
“Difficult to determine but yes I still remember had a diary where I used to write my feelings sometimes. Turning those pages made me realize how true feelings are of a child. Proper expression recently penned in the form blog.”
6] Was it a natural process or did something or someone inspire you to put your first thoughts to paper?
“My sister and mother motivated me to start writing as they felt my expression was very strong. Every person expressing in the form of writing is a not a writer like me. But yes their motivation gave me a sense of calmness and explore the other side of Tanvir.”
7] Would you say that your creativity flows easily or do you need to be motivated by an event or a moment in your life to trigger it?
“My expressions are mix bag. Sometimes free flow creativity but topic depends on the mood and situations running around me and also l like to write on events that many have different views so that it helps in expansion of thoughts. Sometimes a moment that takes place leaving me with lots of unanswered questions leads to the birth of new thoughts.”
8] How frequent or prolific are you with your writing and blogging?
“I try to be regular in my posts at least twice or thrice in a week but fluctuations make take place either due to my schedule or either I might be polishing my content.”
9] Is it just WordPress that your writing is displayed or other platforms as well?
“Currently its only word press. Though sometimes I share it in my social media but due to lack of proper response makes me little selective.”
10] Do you use social media to advertise and market your blog? If so which ones and how effective is it/are they?
“As I said I like my content to reach the people at larger content. Sometimes I use Facebook and Twitter. But I felt Facebook is less effective as I felt the people over there are more happy in liking pictures and not in reading. Where as in Twitter I have less followers so for me its less effective.”
11] Writers block we all get it at one point or another – if you do suffer from it, how do you tackle the problem?
“Luckily, I haven’t been blocked. If I am blocked in near future will make efforts to know the reason so that I can improve.”
12] Which is your preferred writing/creative style?
“What ever strikes me best but mostly till date if I rank the forms its been.”
“Writing, photography and poems ( poems is not my forte)”
13] What is the best thing about blogging in your eyes?
“The best part of blogging so far I have felt is that you are able to interact with many people. It helps to know how much the people are talented and get to know their thoughts nicely. Often healthy discussions leads to a positive interactions among the bloggers.”
14] What prompts you to write about a topic on the day that you post?
“Sometimes its the random topic and at times if I wish to express to my loved ones the importance of a few things than I choose that topic to write. Basically, depending upon the mood and situations.”
15] What advice would you award new bloggers to help and encourage them promote their blog and engage with their audience?
“My experience says you should interact with the bloggers regularly and participate in the form of comments and follow not only because you want to create your blog audience but also if you enjoy the reading of other bloggers. If you follow than try reading their blogs at regular intervals.”
16] Do you have an overall blogging strategy or simply write because you enjoy writing?
“I simply write because I enjoy. It gives me peace and I forget my whole day exertion.”
17] Do you feel it is important to have an engaging audience to the content that you write?
“I think engaging audience is important because if the thoughts you share don’t get the response then you are demotivated and secondly the scope of improvement is reduced.”
18] If no one ever commented on your blog would this concern you, and if so how would you rectify the situation?
“I love when someone comments because blogging is a two way communication and sharing of individual perceptions on that particular topic but due to time constraint liking is also acceptable.”
19] How long from start to finish would/can your content take you to complete?
“Depends upon the content I am writing on.”
20] Which do you think are your best 3 posts to date? Please link below so that our readers can see your style and take a step into your world.
“Very difficult for me to say. As all posts are close to me. Rather those who follow me regularly I leave to them to decide and comment. This will help to work more openly in my thoughts. I dedicate this post to my parents as I am very close to them.”
“A must read for parents and teenagers.”
21] Finally, what advice would you offer new writers to the blogging community?
“Don’t follow just for the sake of following. If you follow make sure you actively participate in the blogs of other readers.”
“Be true to what you are as person but don’t be rigid in your thoughts. Blogging is a place which often helps in changing the perceptions.”
“Enjoy your work and post your articles as if its your first one.”
First and foremost my thanks to Tanvir of Beauty Lies Within Yourself for taking the time to participate in the Truly Inspired series and sharing with us the views and expression more importantly of how thoughts are created to make the blog happen.
Tanvir wrote this “Be true to what you are as person but don’t be rigid in your thoughts. Blogging is a place which often helps in changing the perceptions.” This is actually so very true, that as we write and as such create more thoughts we evolve, our writing evolves as too does the way in which we look at who we are, and further devlop and adapt to our own style to deliver more of our inner beings to those who choose to read.
But all of Tanvir’s advice is sound, and we have seen it time and time again through all of those who have taken part in this series, enjoy what you do and first and formerly do it for you.
