Once Upon A Blog Crime ……..

Once Upon A Blog Crime ……..

26 – Mar 2019 – Game 5

Good grief, what on earth is wrong with this community of writers, authors and book loving souls?  There has been another most awful, hideous and heinous and utterly horrible murder?!

That’s down to you to decide……

During our investigation the following names have come up in connection to our five main questions ..

These being;

Perp 1

Ursula of An Upturned Soul

Perp 2

Beckie of Beckie’s Mental Mess

Perp 3

Lady D of 3C Style

Perp 4

Suzi Tench of My Colourful Life

Perp 5

Ashley – Mental Health @ Home

Fresh out of the Academy is one of our newest detectives Sadje of Keep it Alive, here’s hoping she can keep it together for her first case. I think she has the makings and the gummings to be a great leading investigator. As is the case, fresh out from the training pool, they are usually textbook detectives, so this case is one for you to sharpen your teeth on Sadje, ok.

From you we need to know the following concerning these five ‘perps’  …….

Who is the victim?

Who is the murderer?

Who is the location?

Who is the murder weapon?

Who is the motive?

Detective Sadje by utilising your fresh training and using your remarkable powers of detection, deduction and imagination, we would like you to submit a report [story] outlining to us the answers to our five main questions, and so help us to crack the case!

For goodness sake if you are also able to …… tell us how they were killed? Be specific.

Are you up to the task? Hope So, because ‘no’ isn’t answer!

So what do l actually need from our Detective and the Perps?

Well working with very little information, you have five perps, and five specific questions – each question is relevant to one of the perps. Do you think as an example that Perp 1 might be the victim, or indeed the weapon, perhaps they are neither, maybe they are the murderer, or even the motive or just the location? That’s down to you to decide. Each of our Perps has a clue in their name we can clearly see here that we have … an odd bunch this time, l have to say! You have an upturned soul, a lady of some style, a colourful life, a mental health at home and to boot a mental mess? I don’t envy you Sadje!

I am just the police chief Sadje, but you are the detective – so go … detect.! It’s is literally down to you to crack the case – your imagination and dedication to solving the riddle is open for all to see – good luck!

The Perps themselves need do nothing for the time being, but once we have established who was murdered l should imagine we shall see the usual submissions from the remaining that they didn’t do it, that they are not guilty! But they might not, they might simply accept your decisions detective, time will tell, time always does!!

Five of our Inspectors have already cracked decidedly difficult cases already, if you are not yet familiar with their case files, l have included them here for your perusal:

Inspector Light of Light Motifs II March 2019

Inspector Fandango of This, That and The Other March 2019

Inspector Li of Tao Talk February 2019

Inspector Kristian of Tales of the mind of Kristian February 2019

Inspector Teresa of The Haunted Wordsmith November 2018

Once Upon A Blog Crime

      1. I’m still in therapy and on leave of absence from my case. Wish those vampire nightmares would stop already. I’m forced to sleep during the day and prowl around in the dark! Weird thing is I can’t even remember what happens then…

        1. Oh dear, l am sorry to hear that Inspector, rather grave business l feel … well let’s us hope that you are not up to no good shall we? or it may well be that one of our own inspectors will be investigating one of our own inspectors??

          What what, that’s a mouthful!

    1. Thanks Paula. As Teresa says in her prompts, it need not be good and it need not be right. I am afraid it’s going to be both( or non)!

  1. Okay, have solved the cased, busted it at the hinges you may say. To be published in about 45 minutes. Wait for it……….

      1. If it’s not well done then I bear no responsibility. It was a tough case as I wasn’t familiar with any of the others.
