My thanks to Suzi Tench of My Colourful Life for her gift of  the Real Neat Blog Award. Suzi hosts a blog dedicated to the arts, decorating, reviews and fashion, plus recipes and doing your bit for the environment with upcycling. Suzi catagorises herself as a Lifestyle blogger. So do make sure to check her out.

The Award itself was created by Dear Kitty in 2014 with the concept of connecting worldwide, blogs and bloggers alike to award their efforts and work within their written works.

The guidelines for accepting the RNB Award are pretty straight forwards – answer the seven questions posed to you, gift 3 bloggers and pose a further seven questions and that is it. So without further ado here we go …

Suzi’s Questions

If you could be invisible for a day, what would you do?

Invisible for a day – mm – l don’t know in truth – l am mostly invisible each and every day once Suze goes to work, as no one sees me, well except scrappy. But l don’t know what l would do. I mean what are the advantages to actually being invisible?

To not be seen – so l suppose you could get up to no good. So on that level, l think my answer might be, it would be the ultimate pranking tool.

What is your star sign, and do you show any of the signs traits in your personality?

I am a Taurus and yes l do lean towards some of the traits but not all. Stubborness, overly cautious, problems with my throat, patience, organised, careful, dedicated, romantic and meticulous.

If you had £1000 given to you, how would you spend it?

I would pay for my surgery.

What is your favorite season and why?

Everything except winter.

What is your favorite quote?

“Sleep, those little slices of death – how I loathe them.” Edgar Allan Poe

What is your biggest dislike?

Callers who don’t leave an answerphone message.

My Seven Questions are …

Make a list of 10 items or things you bought and never used or regretted buying?

Describe the strangest dream you’ve had in your life?

What is that one thing you would never do even if someone offered you all of the money in the world?

What was the most embarrassing moment of your life?

What is the most stupid thing you’ve done in front of a crowd?

If you were marooned on an island with one person whom you know personally, who would you like it to be?

Would you rather Be the funniest person in the room or the most intelligent?

  1. No message left – I agree. At one stage my husband switched off the answer machine as he was fed up with me worrying about who of great importance had phoned and not left a message!

    1. Hey Tidal, yes it can be one of the most frustrating aspects of communication going and always makes me wonder 1] why they rang in the first place? 2] What the hell were they selling? 3] Were they some kind of nuisance call, that felt compelled to try and ruin my day had they actually got through to me.

Sometimes if l don’t recognise a number l let it swing into answerphone and then see that my reasons for leaving said number alone were justified as no one left a message.
