Uncertainty – Truly Inspired #13

Truly Inspired Series

1] Blog Name

2] Genre/Blog Style

3] Blog Age

Started on November 2017. So it will be 3 months in February.

3] At what age did you start to write and what was your motivation for doing so?

I started writing when I was 17. I have always been a person of few words standing in the vastness of my imagination. So in order to get my thoughts out, I picked up a pen and became friends with writing.

4] Does writing/creativity come naturally to you or do you struggle to invent something inspirational each day/week/month?

I feel like when I foist something, it doesn’t turn out to be my best work. I let it come naturally to me.

5] How prolific are you in your craft?

Again, I write when it comes to me but I am always looking out trying to make sense of everything. Sometimes at night when I am about to fall asleep, I come up with something and then I immediately write it down so that I can work on it the next day.

Wake up

6] Are your writings displayed elsewhere or just WordPress? If so where?

I started with Facebook and then shifted to Launchora and now I am finally just focusing on WordPress.

7] Do you ever suffer from writers/creators block? How do you combat it?

Yes. Since I love writing, I think I could come out of a situation by writing it down but when it doesn’t come, it sure gets frustrating so I always leave it and do something else.

8] What is your preferred creative form?

Writing, photography, poetry and sketching.

9] How do you arrive at your decision to write/create/invent about what you have chosen as a subject for the piece/s?

I get inspired by my surroundings and when something strikes, I write it down.

10] Do you need an ambience to work with, such as music, quiet, scented candles, yoga, exercise, reading, film or something else?

Yes, I prefer a quiet environment but then, it’s not a necessity.

11] What helps you to create your content?

Definitely life experiences. But I believe everything around us is hiding a story beneath. We just need to dig a bit deeper.

12] Is your content driven by your journey or your story, or by the journeys and stories of others?

My content is about my journey.

13] Are there any specific things which enable your creative juices to flow more steadily?

No, not really.

14] How long from start to finish would/can your content take you to complete?

It could take from some hours to some days.

15] Are you pleased with your finished pieces? How do you feel when you receive acknowledgement from another?

Yes, when I feel satisfied, I post it. Otherwise I keep working on improving it.

Finally, what advice would you award writers or creators looking to express themselves and to then display their works to the world?

Just be true to your feelings and never try to be someone else. You are unique, your art represents you. Be proud of what you share.

My thanks to Uncertainty for participating in the Truly Inspired series and sharing her thoughts into what actually inspires her to write.  I loved this line – “I picked up a pen and became friends with writing.” This describes many of us l feel, and our passion for what we do. What drives us all on if not love, enthusiasm and friendship?

If any would like to participate in the Truly Inspired series – please drop me an email at aguycalledbloke63@gmail.com and l will gladly write you up and share your visions. I would genuinely love to hear from more of you, so don’t be shy, come on, step forward – have a try.
