My genuine and sincere thanks to Kristian of Tales from the mind of Kristian for his gifting of the R.A.K. Award to me. Thank you Mister K, genuinely appreciated. If you are not yet familiar with the whirrings of this man’s mind, l do strongly suggest you pop over and pay him a visit … he doesn’t bite – well not hard anyway, and only on a Sunday!
Now this award was created by none other than our favourite Michelle of Msw R Writings and if you are not yet aware of Michelle either, then please do pop across and have a looksee and say hi! This is what Michelle says of this award.
“This award is given to anyone you think shows kindness to another blogger or writer or to the community here on WordPress.
If you know someone who has shown you or anyone else an act of kindness please nominate them for this award.
I believe that any act of kindness no matter how small can significantly impact another’s life. So I feel it is great to acknowledge those who practice kindness.”
The Guidance is simple.
1- Tell who you gift and why.
2= Copy and share the picture that shows the award, posted above.
3- Share a paragraph of something that impacted your own life in the way of receiving kindness or how you extended kindness to someone else.
4- Gift anyone or share to your own page. If you so choose to Participate. Tag or pingback to the original person who gifted you, or the original post.
In recent weeks, there have been a few people who have made an impact on my life and by this l mean with regards Blogging and for various reasons and because of their selflessness l will regard and do regard these as acts of kindness. I am not going to specifically highlight ‘random acts’, but most significantly and combined – l am gifting this award as my thanks for their wonderful humour, understanding, knowledge, graciousness and assistance – the bloggers themselves are by no means ‘random’ – they are genuine people to whom l have a deep regard and respect for.
But they have whether they know it or not helped me through things recently and for that l am eternally grateful.
Now you should all know that by now l have opted to handle these awards differently – this is not meant to be seen, read or interpreted as derrogative towards the creators of these awards themselves as that is not my intention.
There is no obligation to respond to this gift – it’s just me saying thank you.
Thank you ladies for being who you are.
Rory

I know Sparky – but as l said – l know you have things going on in your life and you ‘don’t’ have to respond – it’s just so you know l am thinking of you and saying thanks for being you 🙂 x

Congratulations to Rory and the Lovely Ladies named! You all rock!
Thanks Li 🙂
Random Acts of Kindness are wonderful to give and to receive!
The world definitely needs more kindness.
This is a great way to show the appreciation of another blogger’s kindness.
Awesome! I am delighted for you that you got this award! Congrats! 😀
Thank you Carol Anne 🙂
You’re welcome Rory 🙂

Oops, I forgot to like this post and thank you for your gift on it. My mind was elsewhere last week… my mind is always elsewhere. I only noticed my omission because I’m about to pass it on, so you’ll be getting a pingback from me.
Thank you very much, Rory, you’re lovely 🙂
Thank you for that Ursula, thank you it means a lot.
