Which do you use … or prefer?
I only have a Desk Top PC for all of my needs … writing, reading, surfing, gaming, administration and so on. Suze doesn’t have a pc, she has a laptop and a Kindle and a Smartphone. I don’t have any of those.
My Mobile phone as l explained to Fandango the other day is a ‘brick’, as in an old Doro 1360, hell and because of my eyesight it is the pensioners model so it has slightly bigger keys and a marginally bigger screen. I don’t really use a mobile phone for anything but the convenience of having mobile communications, so l don’t need a fancy phone and because of that, l don’t even have an Internet connection to it – it simply makes and receives calls and makes and receives texts. I think it has a torch and a few other little features like the normal, but it’s just a phone.
I don’t need a laptop or even the use of the Kindle. But that’s just me.
But what about you? What do you use for all of your WP needs, writing, creating, reading and surfing?
Also, if you had the choice of something different, what would that be?
Let me know below in the comments section.
Thanks, Rory
I do have a Mac, an iPhone and iPad and honestly I use all of them for wp 🤪 when I’m at home is easy to use my Mac but since most of the time I’m out I use my phone to write my posts and enjoy the other blogs…☺️

Hey Ribana,
Hope this finds you well 🙂
Wow, you really like your tech!
So out of the three listed, which is the better?

I have a laptop – I have no idea what type. But it has a screen and a flatt-ish kind of keyboard. But it does not have a thingie on the side to put CDs or DVDs in.
Other than that, it is fine for all I need it for.

Hey Mel, and therefore the lappy is your only truly effective way of working with WP? 🙂

I have a MacBook, which I use for work (my side gigs) and novel writing. Kindles for reading (two, one connects to the internet and one doesn’t ~ the one that doesn’t is lighter and fits on my purse). And an iPhone, which is for everything else, including blogging. 🙂

Reading is easier on the lightweight so I hardly use the other one now.

My laptop is an appendage I cannot live without. Yeah, my cell phone is what it is. Calls to my mom, text a friend, look up the weather… no frills on the phone. But, don’t think of ever taking my laptop away. 😉

I have an iPad for my blogging needs, though when out of the house I do some reading and commenting on my phone as well. I have a laptop but there is a relationship of mutual hate going on between us. I don’t like it and it really hates me.

I do all on an LG Escape phone or a 7″ Kindle. I would definitely prefer a laptop or desktop but I can’t spend the money on one until I feel sure that Ben won’t destroy it.
I’d get a laptop for portability. And because I don’t have room for a desktop.

Strangely enough l am currently looking at a laptop. I got my DTPC for mostly gaming, but l don’t do much of that anymore. I will still have my two screens, but get myself a wireless mouse and keyboard and l am good to boogie 🙂

My iPhone 8 Plus.

I have a Windows laptop (Dell) that I use on very rare occasions. But when it comes right down to it, I’m perfectly happy with using my iPhone. I can take advantage of its portability and use it anywhere. And since I always have it with me, I can use it any time.

Hey Fandango, thank you for your input here. Do you ‘at all’ struggle with the smallness of the screen?

Not really. I have the iPhone 8 Plus, so the screen is a little larger than the one on the regular iPhone 8. And I’ve gotten used to viewing my world through the small screen and using the tiny virtual keypad to tap out my words. On those rare instances when I sit down at my laptop, I feel almost overwhelmed by all the screen real estate.

Blimey l can imagine 🙂
Hats off to you though, whilst l am currently in the process of selling my tower once refurbished and acquiring a laptop, l will still have my dual screens attached, and really only using the lappy as my main engine, but l just don’t think l could ever cope with that small 🙂
