Tell The Story … Spinning The Tale

Tell The Story –

Good ol’ Mister K of Tales from the mind of Kristian has tagged me to follow up in this challenge of “Tell the Story’ which was created by The Eclectic Contrarian .

Above is his image for Tell The story.

“Oh yeah, l do like this, l do, as far as gaffs go, this is a nice bit of bish bosh. I have always loved a bit of ‘istory. It’s the right sort of place to bring up the family. Something new to look at each day. We can all have a right little jaunt through this lot, meander around the ornaments, a bit of a sniff behind the paintings! I have done alright for myself here. I have always found it really pleasant to have something which you can call home, you know? It’s just nice to have a corner where you can hang your’at, and this – yes this is it for me.”

“I have done alright for myself this time, can’t wait to tell the wife and the kids. I mean today it’s all about location, location, location isn’t it? Here, we are really close to some nice eateries with lots of choice l think. We’ll be well warm, l have seen some of the neighbours already, and they seem quite friendly, although not sure what that other chap was on about, about being careful and keeping hidden like. Not sure what he meant by that? But each to their own. He had a nice gaff, very creatively designed, well l reckon my missus might give him a run for his money, she knows how to spin things just right.”

“Yeah, this is our new home, l am so glad l popped in today for a bit of a look. Oh hello, here’s another of the other neighbours, cor,  big lot aren’t they? Is she looking at me? Yeah she is all kind of strange like as well, what gives then?”

The lady screamed loud enough for the others to hear and come running in, “Gerald, Gerald come quickly, oh no, no, this cannot be, l will not have it! GERAAAAAAAALD!!”

A small balding man, slightly overwight came running through the door, out of breath and puffing, “Yes my love?”

“There’s a spider there, you know how l am about those beastly things, get rid of it, kill it, NOW!!”

“Oh no, blimey, no, nooooooooooooooooo!” Wilfred screamed as he scuttled towards the corner. His missus would most assuredly not be best pleased. Before Wilfred had even managed to get to the saftey on the high corner, Gerald had flattened him with a rolled up newspaper.

The End!

I am going to challenge the following …

        1. No, they can’t. My Mother was one of those people, she would flatten everything in sight! It mattered not, what insect it was, but she hated spiders.

I remember when young how she was always looking to rid me of my Huntsman, and was one of the few people who was glad when she died.
