Tell The Story … Nowyukntcme Cannyu

Tell The Story –

Sadje of Keep it Alive has tagged me to follow up in this challenge of “Tell the Story’ which was created by The Eclectic Contrarian .

Above is her image for Tell The story.

I don’t know why some people are the way they are, but they are, but so too are some of the things we read, have you noticed that? That you can escape into the world created by a good writer, and if you wish you can almost believe that you are in that world – l love immersing myself into the world of a good fiction writer.

Like now, reading the book l am reading on mythical creatures, magical spells, cloaking devices and incantations for invisibility – l am not sure why l felt so drawn to this. The book seller, a funny old Chinese gentleman who looked like he was at least 200 years old! Told me to NOT read this during the day because l could get lost! He must have meant that l can get lost in the reading itself, absorbed into the other world, escaping with the author – mm, what was his name? Oh yes that’s right, it’s quite enchanting by itself l think … Nowyucntcme Cannyu – l mean that is an odd name isn’t it?

Well l was just saying that name over and over to myself because there is just something so strange about it, and l felt slightly dizzy, but it passed, but what’s even odder is, l have been sitting here for twenty minutes looking at this book, at one particular page the same page, and l swear l must be going blind, because l can’t actually read what it says? It’s almost like l am not here!?

I am going to challenge the following …

Michelle of Mws R Writings

Suzanne of Ellie894

Lisa of All About Life
