Mystery Blogger Award 6 & 7

I have opted to write up these Awards slightly differently from the normal routine of acceptance. In the post And The Award Goes To … The Sequel l outlined that l would not be using the word ‘Nomination’  on the grounds that the truth is the Award itself is gifted to our blogs by another blogger as a ‘Compliment’ to our writing styles, our creativity and imagination and even to ourselves. The Awards ‘Celebrate’ the beauty of everything we do.

This is not a slur against those whom created these beautifully inspiring Awards, merely a difference of interpretation to acceptance.

Mystery Blogger Award 6 & 7

My sincere thanks and appreciation go to Sadje of Keep It Alive and Sadje of Keep It Alive for gifting me the Mystery Blogger Award. [Twice]

If you are not yet familiar with Sadje’s writings and creativity, then l would strongly suggest that you pop along and acquaint yourself with her imagination.

So? What is the Mystery Award?

“Mystery Blogger Award” is an award for amazing bloggers with ingenious posts. Their blog not only captivates; it inspires and motivates. They are one of the best out there, and they deserve every recognition they get. This award is also for bloggers who find fun and inspiration in blogging; and they do it with so much love and passion.

3 Things About Yourself!

I believe there are times when you can bend rules without breaking them, l am somewhat non-conformist.

Where there is a Will, there is always a Way!

I believe in freedom of thought and hold the belief that thinking differently is a really good thing!

Answer Nominators 5 Questions [x2]

What is the best thing about your blog?

I have no honest idea what that might be, perhaps the diversity.

What is your tag-line and how did you think of it?

‘We Each Have A Story To Tell’ – is based principally on the very truth itself, we each have a story to tell.

How would you encourage new bloggers?

Well each and every new blogger is different to the next, and so too is their approach. First bit of advice might be to know what you wish to write about. When you know that, you then know who you might appeal to. From that point, get involved with your writing, your blog and your fellow bloggers. There are many prompts out in the community should you struggle to know what to write about and or simply engage with the community itself and your potential audience and readership.

How do you manage your time in the blogosphere?

Well, mm, that’s a good question. I have a criteria that l work to, as well as a time zone and l set myself targets and deadlines.

What is the most embarrassing moment of your life?

I don’t tend to get embarrassed in the normal way, but l have had to get used to receiving compliments for stuff l do in my blog and l feel very awkward at that point. So in your terminology daily.

If life offered a redo, what part of it will you want to change?

Well, l think the honest answer is none, for to accept a redo means you change your history and l am happy to be where l am now and would not wish to change it, even the horrible bits because l learned things from those experiences.

Can you remember what was the one thing you hated about school?

Yes, school itself.

Growing up, what was your dream profession/job?

As a kid l wanted to either be a Vet or work with animals. I didn’t become a Vet, but l did work with animals.

If you met your English teacher today, what would be her opinion about your blog?

Wow, who would know. I had a serious crush on my English teacher! She said l had a defined skill set but was very verbose in a good way due to my detail. She might goad me a little as to why l haven’t written a book yet.

Would you rather be the frog prince/ princess or the ugly duckling?

I am an ugly duckling and happy to be so! Being different rocks!

My 5 Questions

What is something that is really popular now, but in 5 years everyone will look back on and be embarrassed by?

What used to be considered trashy but now is very classy?

Are you a rule breaker or bender?

Which body part do you wish you could detach and why?

Toilet paper, over or under the holder?

    1. Hey Sadje, many thanks l was just getting to you, but now you have seen the ping back 🙂

It took me a bit of time to get the layout right, but am happy with it now and it’ll be the formula l use for them all.

      1. It’s great! Unfortunately I already have done mine and scheduled it for later. But from now onwards this is going to be the format I am following. You’re right. It’s a gift to us, not bound by limitations. 👍

        1. Yes that’s exactly it, it’s a gift, that has just been forgotten that is just that. I feel more comfortable gifting my friends and other bloggers and not imposing upon them or their time 🙂

  1. Thank you! I think I will take door #2 but answer them here if you don’t mind.
3 things about me: I love BBQ, I hate tomatoes, and mushrooms belong in the woods – not in a meal
    Answers to your 5 questions:
    1. I have no idea what is “popular” today, but everything has its day.
    2. Um….the Presidency? Oh wait, that’s the other way around now. No idea.
    3. Rule bender mostly, strictly by the book other times.
    4. Boobs…they get cold in the winter.
    5. Hey, I’m not picky – at least I have toilet paper

  2. So….I have actually finished my post….questions, nominees and the entire package. But I have a whole of post scheduled already – so it will appear next Sunday. Had fun though! Thanks Rory.
