    1. Hey Julie, ah now we have a new entry to the mix, The Family Stone l have seen that J-Parker, Keaton and mm, Luke Wilson and mm, and Mulroney isn’t it and another l like good ol’ McAdams ? Will add that in tomorrow – thank you 🙂

  1. I asked my daughter because you had most of my favourites and she said
    Bad Santa
    Charlie Brown Christmas
    The Polar Express
    Christmas in Connecticut
    Jack Frost
    A Walt Disney Christmas
She did say more but I knew the others were already listed!

  2. If I was asking my dad it would be Zulu Dawn, a few John Wayne Films, a few Elvis films to keep my mum happy and The gums of Navarone. Maybe the Great Escape and Bridge on the River Kwai! I remember him meticulously planning the Christmas viewing with the tv times and radio times side by side!!

    1. They are indeed films that have often appeared as you know over here during Christma on television and l shall add them in. True grit was a classic for many years.

      1. Yes and McClintock! My mums favourite will always be The Quiet Man as that was filmed where they lived. My brothers house backs on to the railway line in the film!

  3. The Polar Express is one my daughter and I really love and watch each Christmas. It’s full of magic and hope and leaves us feeling warm and fuzzy inside 🙂

  4. A Season for Miracles, Smokey Mountain Christmas, Gremlins, A Dog Named Christmas, Ernest Saves Christmas, Little Drummer Boy, One Magic Christmas, A Hobo’s Christmas, Best Christmas Pagent Ever, The Christmas Gift with John Denver, The Christmas That Almost Wasn’t, Look Who’s Talking Now, Eight Crazy Nights, A Madea Christmas, The Star, The Man Who Invented Christmas, The Bear Who Slept Thru Christmas, The Great Santa Claus Caper

    1. Hi Teresa, l too am not sure why this list was not added in, however l have drawn up a new list this morning displaying all of these, cast your vote for them, and added in your other comments as well from the newer comment 🙂

  5. I’ve just thought of another one that I like to watch at Christmas. The Slipper and the Rose – A musical version of Cinderella.

Also, There is a film called Little Lord Fauntleroy with Alec Guinness in that is a great Christmas film. 🙂

And how about ‘The Amazing Mr. Blunden’ ? Now I think on it, there are quite a few I like.

        1. I know what you mean. Home Alone as a movie for me personally, was a once only movie viewing. Joe Pesci is a little funny, but those two together just made me cringe. I am oft surprised at those who can watch it and watch it again and find it funny all the time.

  6. While You Were Sleeping…while not technically a Christmas movie, takes place all during the holidays in my favorite city..Chicago!
