  1. The 1951 version of Scrooge starring Alastair Sim, all others are a pale inferior copy.
    I also like to watch the BBC adaptation of The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe and The Blackadder’s Christmas Carol.

    That’s it really, I can’t think of any other Christmas specific film I watch.

  2. Die Hard is arguably the best Christmas film ever and if anyone tells you differently they are very much mistaken. Really Janey? Why? Okay you asked for it …

    1. Its the epitome of Christmas movie. Estranged family. Hubby sacrificing his family for work, blah, blah, blah.
    2. His wife’s name is Holly!
    3. Quotes. “Now I have a machine gun, ho, ho, ho.”
    4. Christmas music (I admit it’s elevator music but whatev’s) and last but never least …
    5. Alan Rickman.
