M.M.H.B Challenge – Mystery – Guessed

As a child, l witnessed terrible scenes of torture!

My aunt was reputed to be a murderous bisexual witch!

Unblemished blood makes for the perfect skin tonic for this Countess.

I liked to see my victims freeze to death in the snow, and encouraged that along with icy water!

Bees are attracted to honey and they were also attracted to many of my victims!

I am rather partial to some human flesh!

I had a rather remarkable libido, and never felt sated!

Brick by brick they built a wall to keep me in!

How many did l kill? Ooh l don’t know, l lost count after 80, although some think it is closer to 600. I am not telling! But did l, really?

I lived in the Kingdom of Hungary!

      1. Yes it was indeed, not confirmed, but a rising suspicion did do the rounds for a while. The strange thing was that Bram Stoker never once visited Romania, Transylvania or even Hungary.

        Bathory it was suggested may not even have been totally guilty of all the crimes, but as a noblewoman is a position of power and huge finance, other heads of power wanted her out of that role.

        But extra brownie points awarded 🙂

        1. Stories traveled far and wide though. The fact that she admitted to bathing in blood was enough to create some of the legend, but she wasn’t the only one who thought there was power in blood (especially virgin blood).

          1. The Basher title is for the hard core horror enthusiasts, you kn ow the aficionado’s amongst the bloggers. But the other challenges have no fixed anything to them, and it is purely contribution based, anyone can join in, and every comment response, story’s as l see you have submitted, it’s all about just doing what anyone feels like doing.
