Monster Mash, of course!
Witchy Woman
Season of the Witch
Rhiannon
Spooky
Spooky by Classic IV yes?
Rhiannony by F/Mac yes?
Donovan – Season of the witch?
Witchy Woman – Eagles?
Are these the ones you mean Paula? 🙂
Yes!
Okies 🙂
Well obvious: “Monster Mash” … Bobbie Pickett. My other choices (not 20 though, I don’t know 20) “I Put A Spell On You” Creedence Clearwater Revival (but the film Hocus Pocus’s version is probably more popular). That Old Black Magic – don’t know WHO sang that…but it sounds spooky. Love Potion #9 – The Searchers. Werewolves of London – Warren Zevon. Witchy Woman – Eagles. I can probably think of more…but maybe I’ll leave a few for someone else…. 😉
Excellent choices Melanie .. that’s the spirit boom boom!
Great video!! 😬😂
Yes it’s brilliant isn’t it Christy 🙂
😬YES! 😁
That video was made just that tad more peculiar by the fact that I’m going to listen to a religious program here shortly, and they’re playing hymns prior to the talks. I can’t turn off the sound to that broadcast…so I heard “The Revised Monster….Blech” and at the very end, where they’re all sad that Frankie looked at the Ring woman…and all of a sudden “Bless me now my savior” came blasting out. Um. BWAHAHAHAHHA…well it was ODD..
I remember my uncle (He was in a motorcycle gang called the Diablos) and his friends used to listen to Creedence Clearwater Rival all the time. They had a song called Bad moon rising, and it reminds me of Halloween and spooky things, but then I was a kid and kids have those crazy imaginations. My all time favorite is the Monster Mash. Also classic Stephen King like Carrie and Salem’s Lot were really scary novels to me. I haven’t really read Stephen King since I was a teenager. He has some great spooky stories.
Great choices, l used to write to Stephen King as a young novice writer alongside Guy N Smith, James Herbert and a host of others – he was awesome – thanks for the votes 🙂
That is so cool.
Ghost Story – Peter Straub
The Rats and The Spear – James Herbert
Dracula
Brilliant novel choices Britchy 🙂
The Monster Mash
Thriller
Somebody’s Watching Me
The Ghostbusters theme song
Hey Josh, great choices and duly noted, thanks for the votes 🙂
Scariest book I ever read was Salem’s Lot by Stephen King, as for a song choice, what about Thriller – has to be included for the video alone ;O) xx
Hey Lisa, yes l think a lot of the Stephen King books are excellent choices for the line up. I know Pet Sematry got to me something awful 🙂 Yes of course Thriller will be in the line up 🙂
Yep me too – that’s a guy who knows how to write scary 😉 x
Oh yes, hides it well don’t you think …………:) LOL
😂😂😂👍
🙂
Hmmm…..not exactly Halloween songs per se….but they are quite fitting to the season anyway (and not been mentioned as of yet lol).
Concrete Blonde has a few: Bloodletting (the Vampire song); Ghost of a Texas Ladies Man, and Walking in London.
And Delta Rae has at least two: Bottom of the River and Dance in the Graveyard.
And because I haven’t seen anyone them mentioned yet, The Eagles, Hotel California, and Gerard McMahon’s Cry Little Sister from The Lost Boys movie.
I’m sure there are probably more escaping my mind right now. I may be back lol.
As for Books…..I like some of the short story collections by Ray Bradbury: The October Country, and From the Dust Returned, and his novel Something Wicked This Way Comes.
Hey Cherilyn, some totally groovy tracks picked there admittedly and def for fitting into the line up, and the book choices very very much so 🙂
Oingo Boingo’s Dead Man’s Party
Love it 🙂
This is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO on the list – great contribution!
One of my Halloween favorites!
🙂
Amityville horror By Jay Anson is pretty scary. Doesn’t have the typical flowery language, but regardless it is still terrifying. 😀
Totally agree with you fanatic 🙂 I read the book first and l was terrified”
