Game On – Series 2 – The Beauty of Great Music

Game On – S2 Created by A Guy Called Bloke and K9 Doodlepip!

This twice weekly game will be 21 questions or in truth 16 flexi questions, because there will be five permanent that must stay in place at all time.

But apart from those 5 permanent questions, should you choose to reblog, then you can change any of the other 16 questions or create 16 of your own, that’s down to you, however you must stick to the Daily Topic Subject.

The Rules …

1] Leave the Permanent Questions [PQ] always in place PLEASE.

2] Reblog should you so desire

3] If you do reblog, a ping back would always be welcomed so l don’t miss it.

4] This is a non tagger/non nomination game.

Today’s questions are perhaps a little bit more taxing, however, this is the way of life as we know it, and there is never anything wrong with a little bit of thought provocation is there?

  1. I wrote this on Fandango’s post (which was excellent!) : Well if we’re listing the concerts we’ve attended (some of us are a bit ‘old’ I suppose..not me mind! 😉 ) here’s my short list: REO Speedwagon, Fleetwood Mac, Peter Frampton, Journey, Neil Diamond (x3), ZZ Top, Styx, Boston (x2), Foreigner, Cheap Trick, Harry Belafonte (with a friend who simply loved his music), Mannheim Steamroller (x2)… I’m sure there are others I’m forgetting, but geez. “In the day” (and my day is roughly the same as your day) you could go to these without fearing for your life (my brother took one of his boys to see Styx and Foreigner and there was a shooting there. You could AFFORD the ticket and it was fun (even if one came out a bit stoned from all the ‘clove cigarette’ smoke ). Now I would dread it…not near physically fit enough for one thing and my patience? Short fuse. I hate crowds too. I do not regret one moment of those concerts I was fortunate enough to see though. Good times!

    1. Yeah gigs used to be fun, l wouldn’t and truth be told couldn’t attend one these days due to the crowds, like you l DON’T do crowds anymore 🙂

I was still attending concerts in the 90’s, but haven’t been to one since perhaps 97.

  2. I have fllen very behind with reading posts and finishing posts I had started…however, this one is my favourite and it is 90%…I just need to add the links etc. I finish work at 12 midnight…and then I ought to catch some beauty sleep before my beloved comes tomorrow…but I think I will have time to finish it in the morning!
