Quick Fire Round 10#

What is the one meal you could eat all day every day for the rest of your life if you had to?

If we lived in an all grey world what three colours would you introduce as the first and only colours to our world?

Have you ever been starstruck?

What is the best present you have ever received?

What film would best describe your life?

What song would best describe your life?

What is the next book you are thinking of reading?

If you NEVER had to sleep and could sail through each and every day without getting tired, what would you be doing with all that extra time?

What question would you ask of a stranger to get to know them better quickly?

Worst holiday you have ever had?

You have the choice at dying at 100 or living to 200 but still go through the ageing process what would you select and why?

How will humans evolve in the next 1000 years – as in what do you think we will look like?

What’s the website you visit most often?

If these were only two choices what would you pick and why: A planet with no fruit or a planet with no vegetables?

In a world that is constantly changing on a daily basis what one thing do you hope will never change?

What is your astrological sign and do you think you are close to that personality type?

It is said that every one of us has a book waiting to be written, what would your book be?

What is something you will NEVER do again?

Answers please on the transparent side to a droplet of water!

What is the one meal you could eat all day every day for the rest of your life if you had to?
    Baked beans on toast.

If we lived in an all grey world what three colours would you introduce as the first and only colours to our world?

Blue, green and yellow. I would miss blue skies, green lawns and meadows and yellow daffodils the most. I’ve never really liked Red.

    Have you ever been starstruck?

Yes embarrassingly I have. A singer, by the name of Alison Moyet attended my Cousins funeral. My Cousin’s wife’s brother is Alison Moyet’s partner. Because of the solemnity of the occasion, I just couldn’t bring myself to go and say hello to Alison Moyet because I knew I would be all gushy and that was totally inappropriate.

What is the best present you have ever received?

I am terrible at remembering these things, but a really great present was having a Creative Writing course paid for this year. That is what gave me the confidence to start blogging.

What film would best describe your life?

There’s a great old film called ‘I Remember Mama’ and if the stories narrator had been a boy rather than a girl, then it could have been me.

What song would best describe your life?

“Even when the darkest clouds are in the sky, you mustn’t cry and you mustn’t sigh, just spread a little happiness as you go by…..”

What is the next book you are thinking of reading?

Emily who writes a blog called a Literary Life, recommended a couple of books to me. A Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde (I know the film well) and The Sign of Four by Arthur Conan Doyle. So them.

If you NEVER had to sleep and could sail through each and every day without getting tired, what would you be doing with all that extra time?

I would do all my blogging at night and then live more during the day.

What question would you ask of a stranger to get to know them better quickly?

What star sign are you and how similar are you to the accepted characteristics of that sign….. I have just seen you’ve asked that below LOL.

Worst holiday you have ever had?

I usually have lovely holidays, I tend to prefer holidays where I retain control, so I prefer self catered holidays rather than all inclusive.
The worst holiday was recently when I had gone out of my way to accommodate someone else and they turned out to be a waste of breath. Having to tolerate their company pretty much ruined my holiday. NEVER AGAIN.

You have the choice at dying at 100 or living to 200 but still go through the ageing process what would you select and why?

I would prefer to live to 100 and have no significant health issues and passing peacefully than live to 200 in agony or having lost my faculties. Ideally I would like to choose a couple of people to also join me for my old age. The worst thing about living to a ripe old age must be losing all your loved ones.

How will humans evolve in the next 1000 years – as in what do you think we will look like?

They will get more and more stupider and more reliant on technology that they just become obsolete and disappear, I reckon it will only take another 20 years as the most.

What’s the website you visit most often?

WordPress, Wikipedia, Youtube, they’re the biggies.

If these were only two choices what would you pick and why: A planet with no fruit or a planet with no vegetables?

If there were TWO choices, I’d choose both those options. πŸ˜‰

In a world that is constantly changing on a daily basis what one thing do you hope will never change?

That the people I love will remain.

What is your astrological sign and do you think you are close to that personality type?

I’m a Sagittarius and I bought a little book about star signs because it made me laugh, all the negative and positive traits summed me up pretty well except that I am not a gambler and don’t like to take risks. Other than that. Pretty accurate.

I don’t believe in astrology but it does provide a helpful shortcut for getting to know people.

It is said that every one of us has a book waiting to be written, what would your book be?

I have written it. It is a fantasy fiction novel and I have been posting excerpts from it on my blog.

What is something you will NEVER do again?

Go on holiday with a certain person who’ll remain nameless. In fact they will always be nameless as far as i’m concerned.

    1. Excellent, it’s strange it has often been suggested that because of my Aspergers there is a theory of A-B Vrs. B – A thinking, those of us on the spectrum slot into the B-A thought, which basically means that even though there is a marginal difference, there is still a difference, and l will show the example and to why l brought this up in the first place.

If these were only two choices what would you pick and why: A planet with no fruit or a planet with no vegetables?
If there were TWO choices, I’d choose both those options

When l wrote the question how l read it was that there was only one choice of the two Classic B-A thought pattern, and yet how you have answered is atypical A-B thought pattern.

When reading the question those two ways there are indeed two answers, it means l must correct the question to present the A-B thinking of reading.

This slight difference in thinking is the one leading cause for confusion between between Suze and myself πŸ™‚

Thanks for answering with great answers πŸ™‚
