The lovely and charming Richa of iScriblr has tagged me into her “Freedom of Expression” Tag! with the topic of View. My thanks to Richa for this opportunity and l shall try my best to not let the Tag down.
This is how Richa explains the Tag
ABOUT THE TAG
Every Thursday I will pick a topic, post photos or quotes or lyrics or a poem or an article about the “topic” and nominate 3 bloggers, who in turn will post about that SAME topic (in whichever way they want) and nominate 3 bloggers of their own, spreading “FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION” far and wide.
It’s all about you being the BOSS and choosing the best way possible to express and depict your understanding of the theme of the day. Fun, ain’t it?
1 Thank the Selector and do not forget to tag/create a “ping-back!”
2 Attach the tag photo.
3 Post about that topic (in whichever way you want – it could be a photo or a quote or a poem or an article) for the dedicated “Topic of the Day.” No rush!
4 Select 3 bloggers to take part in “FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION” Tag! Let’s spread some positivity around.
There you have it folks – a brand new “fun” tag that is all about free will and choice. Also, would love to hear about your feedback and thoughts around this attempt of mine – I am all ears, hit me up!
Point of View
I have come to the conclusion that everybody and their Grandmother’s cat to boot has an opinion, a freedom of expression for sure but more importantly when talking of ‘view’, people often or not have their own ‘point of view’ which is fine, after all that’s our perrogative, isn’t it? We each see things differently, sometimes we can look at the same thing and yet our minds see something different to the next person along.
Society – “Well it’s just a flower isn’t it?”
Point of View -“Is it?”
“There are a dozen views about everything until you know the answer. Then there’s never more than one.”
― C.S. Lewis
Society -“Well alright then, it’s a pretty flower then!”
Point of View – “Is that all?”
“If all we had were roses, would the thorns then be beautiful?”
― Kamand Kojouri
Society – “Okay, actually it’s a rose, not just a flower.”
Point of view – “Ok, so it’s not just a flower then?”
“A beautiful view accords most with an elegant soul!”
― Mehmet Murat ildan
Society – “Well in truth, it’s a truly beautiful rose with a heavenly scent.”
Point of view – “Ah, that’s the beauty of expression, everyone sees something different to the next! It just comes down to how ‘you’ decide to look at it and interpret your personal reflection.”
“Most people’s view of what could be is limited by what is. They view the present state of the world and think it will always be like that. They can’t imagine how it might change.”
― Marushia Dark
