  1. Great interview. They say about many of the greats that they are able to project their personality during the show, but in real life they are quite reserved, Freddie came across quite reserved.

We Are the Champions is one of those songs that make the hair on the back of my neck stand up. Great.

  2. Thank you for featuring Queen this week & thank you to Britchy ( ) for suggesting them!
All these years I’ve loved Queen and Freddie Mercury, I’ve never bought one of their albums. Even so, with the exception of (the new to me) My Fairy King, I’ve been pretty much able to sing along with every one of the featured songs. Probably the only other group I could do that with would be The Beatles or maybe my beloved Cars. It’s the soundtrack of my life.Love!

      1. Are you trying to make my mind blow a gasket? Let’s see….The Cars were inducted into the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame in April, so the Fanorama has been looking at 2018 as the year of the Cars. Also, a book, “Let’s Go: A Biography of The Cars’ Benjamin Orr” by Joe Milliken will be published in November. Being featured for TOTW might just help build potential readership. OK. I vote for Cars.

  3. I just wondered.. if you played every song written and recorded by Queen/Freddie Mercury back to back – how lucky bf would it take to play them all?
