Suggestions, if you will please

Hey folks – how is your day going?

Ok, a new series starts next week called TOTW = Theme Of The Week [created and named by Grandma] which is replacing the QFTD. It will run on Tuesdays, Thursdays and the two days of the weekend only. Our first week will be looking at Freddie Mercury and Queen at the request of Britchy , but we have nothing lined up for the following weeks, so have a think and tell me what themes you might like to see displayed.

TOTW has no fixed ‘theme’ and is fairly fluid at this current time. How would you like to see it go?

Secondly, The Greats of our Time, launched last week with John Candy Week this looks at the work of great but sadly dead actors. I have two ideas for weeks ahead such as Robin Williams and Heath Ledger however, if you would like to suggest someone, then please do.

Let me know in the comments section please.

  1. Suggestions for Theme of the week….British Comedies, American Sit-coms, Music of the 80’s Rock, Disco, Electropop etc.

The Greats of our Time : Michael Caine, Tom Hanks, Ewan McGregor, John Hurt, Christian Bale, Cate Blanchette, Sigourney Weaver, Meryl Streep.

I have to say that these are not particular favourites of mine, but i’d think they had broad appeal.

    1. Good suggestions Kristian, although Greats of our Time was considering looking at the sadly departed, unless you think we should look at alive and dead?

If we are looking at both, then particular appeal would matter not, let’s take one of yours as an example? Alive or dead, name one ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Theme of the week:
Love Kristians suggestions and want to add Andrew Lloyd Webber and Stock Aitken and Waterman – maybe Steven Spielberg and John Williams too ?
As for gone but not forgotten – Prince, Sid James, Victoria Wood, David Bowie, John Wayne, Laurel and Hardy versus Abbott and Costello,
