Monday, Wednesday, Friday Question Time

Of all the stigmas we have in our society, which stigma or taboo do you think is worse than the next? If you had to list them, in which order would they appear?

But more importantly why are they still considered forbidden topics?

Everyone loves a bit of banter, some discussion, topical talk, well that’s what MWF Question Time is all about.

  1. I don’t understand why people hate talking about death or dying.
It’s going to happen to all of us sooner or later. It’s a natural part of life. I think people would be better prepared, both the person dying, and their friends and family, if it was regularly discussed and normalized.

Something that irks me even more though is homophobia. People spend way too much time thinking about what happens in the bedroom. Who people love or are sexually attracted to really no one’s business except the people involved. We absolutely need more love in our sad world. Why spread hate and try to restrict part of the population because their choices aren’t your’s?! Love is love!! Forget what happens (or doesn’t- don’t wanna leave out our asexual friends) in someone’s bedroom!

  2. There are so many things that are stigmatized in our society, and I think most of that stems from ignorance. I don’t know that any one is necessarily worst in absolute terms; probably the worst one is whatever personally impacts you or those close to you.
