Good evening everyone!

It’s Double 80’s Whammy Weekend!!

It’s Sunday Night!

So far this week, we have had:

The Breakfast Club 1984

Sixteen Candles 1984

Weird Science 1985

Ferris Bueller’s Day Off 1986

Pretty In Pink 1986

Some Kind of wonderful – 1987

Planes, Trains and Automobiles – 1987

Uncle Buck – 1989

Christmas Vacation – 1989

European Vacation – 1985

Bringing our John Hughes collection for the 80’s to a close are the last two entries for this week!

Who Remembers These??

Mr Mom – 1983

She’s Having A Baby – 1988

In truth l remember both of these movies and for me personally l didn’t rate them that highly, but hey as everyone says each to their own preferences. The soundtrack to Mr Mom was pretty dismal, although the saving grace musically came from She’s Having A Baby.

I always preferred to hang out with the outcasts, ’cause they were cooler; they had better taste in music, for one thing, I guess because they had more time to develop one with the lack of social interaction they had!

Why watch someone kissing when people really close their eyes when they kiss?

Have a great evening folks next week John Hughes the 90’s!

  1. LOL! I use to quote “Mr. Mom” … “My brain is like oatmeal” when I used to work. People would just bust out laughing at me. One day m boss asked me, how did I come up with that statement… I referred him to watch the movie. Then, he was one saying the same thing. 🙂

  2. Mr Mom was great. It showed just how difficult being a stay at home parent can be. Great cast too.
I’m sure I must’ve seen She’s Having a Baby but I don’t really remember it, so either I didn’t see it, or it didn’t leave much of an impression.

The “weirdos” and “outcasts” definitely knew/know all the cool music. They have more time to look for different things instead of whatever is popular at the time.
