My thanks to Ray of Ray Not Bradbury for tagging me into/onto this fun challenge.
Introduction: A very short post… I’m going to share my 3 favourite shows (by energy, mood, watchable qualities) for the boring days when you are sick. I don’t know about you, but when I can’t breathe, fever is kicking my butt and I barely can open the eyes – I’m not into the reading…not really.
- No more than 3 tv-shows
- Pick the heroes u like in each show
- Add the pictures or gifs, if you like
- Humor is welcome
- Nominate some folks around – spread the word
- Pingback to my post, if you like, because I dont have any comment section for the summer
1] When you are too sick to hold a book
2] Still sick, but you are starting to feel better.
3] You are on the road to recovery.
This is going to be a real challenge for me as l don’t actually watch a lot of television – this is NOT saying l don’t watch any at all, just not very often. The other thing and this might be my Aspie mind taking it too literally, but l don’t have any heroes, but l guess it might mean main characters, so l will run with the latter.
Also when l am sick, l don’t actually collapse in front of the television because l am way too fidgetty much to Suze’s angst.
I tend to watch more Netflix programmes than terrestial TV, and because of that l amnot often watching shows as they happen, so my choices are probably old shows. In truth, even when l am sick, l am mostly sat in front of my PC, if l am sicker than that, then l am in bed asleep.
Person of Interest
2011 – 2016
Both Suze and l have been watching this series for the last couple of months, and as is our usual way, if we find a great series we tend to watch it quite enthusiastically. So far we are on season 4 towards the end. Atypically, there is a 5th season – NOT available on Netflix!! But unless the series is incredibly and remarkably outstanding, which l must concede to saying this one is, we wouldn’t buy the next series. However we have found it on Amazon Prime, so there is a good chance we will. Most of the time if a series finishes l have no specific loyalty and tend to look for something new.
I don’t have particular resonation with the series apart from the fact that l find it enjoyable viewing. As to favourite characters well, l happen to like them all, but have a huge preference towards Bear.
2011 – Present
This is a British crime drama series that l have when it has been on as a series l have watched every single episode. Sadly there are only 4 episodes per season and only one season per year. But this a cracking little series, and the main character:
Simply reminds me of Paddington Bear [Yes another bear, how strange – do l have a thing for bears?]
Grace and Frankie
2015 – Present
Suze and l watched this series in a very short period of time, having literally only finding it by chance on our weekly Netflix search, and after one episode were completely and utterly hooked watching sometimes 3 – 4 episodes a day [this was when Suze wasn’t working]. Currently 52 episodes and 4 seasons, and we are eager to await the production of season 5.
But for those not in the know this is just an awesomely funny series starring jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin who are fantastic actors anyway. But the two are real life friends and have worked together as a duo before, thus making the performances seriously funny! Sam Waterston and Martin Sheen as the ex husband gay couple are also outstandingly funny.
Anyway, enough of my choices, what about yours?
