Good Morning Everyone – it’s Hump Day Otherwise Known as Wednesday!!

1973 – 1975

To me, the Seventies were very inspirational and very influential… With my whole persona as Snoop Dogg, as a person, as a rapper. I just love the Seventies style, the way all the players dressed nice, you know, kept their hair looking good, drove sharp cars and they talked real slick.

Back in the Seventies, we had a romantic, poetic vision of the future, like it was in the movie ‘2001: A Space Odyssey.’ It felt as if everything was still ahead of us.

I was a huge Bowie fan since I was 12 years old. That was the first ‘punk’ rock I got into in the Seventies. I didn’t find out about a lot of the other stuff that was going on, like New York Dolls and Roxy Music, until a lot later.

David Bowie – The Jean Genie – 1973

Queen – Killer Queen – 1974

Roxy Music – Love Is The Drug – 1975

Who Remembers this little beauty from 75!

So how alive are you with today’s 73 – 75!?

PUMP IT UP LET’S KICK TODAY AWAKE!!

Good Morning folks, let’s make Wednesday know we are here!!

Have a great day!!

  1. Excellent!! I haven’t heard that Bowie song in forever, you picked my favorite Queen song, I knew Avalon but didn’t realize Roxy Music had been around before that, and OMG… Rocky Horror Picture Show!!! I’m ready to do the Time Warp! It’s just jump to the left…
