“Usually twice per day.”

“It varies, usually at the weekends we go off in the car for an adventure.”
10] Do your 2 leggeds allow you to talk to other K9’s on your walks or do they huff and puff behind you and urge you to hurry along?
“A few of my friends ….
“Oh yes, I love meeting new dogs, I have many friends.”

“I love to roll – be it on the grass, sand or snow. I love to swim also. I’m usually off lead unless there’s food about!”
12] Have your 2 leggeds ever embarrassed you? If so how?
“No I don’t think so.”
13] Do your 2 leggeds expect you to fetch the ball/toy every time during soft/hard play?
“I’ll fetch the ball but I don’t always bring it back – tennis balls make the best back scratchers, I love to roll on top of my ball!”
* Do you have favourite toys and if so what are they?
“Monkey was my favourite but he’s gone to the big toy box in the sky now.”
14] Are you loved every day?
“Me and my mate Gizmo!”
“Oh yes, I am very loved by my people and Gizmo.”
15] Do your 2 leggeds take you away on holidays with them?
“They’ve only gone on holiday once to Iceland, unfortunately it wasn’t possible for me to go so I stayed at a dog sitter.”
16] Do you get to pick where you go if they do?
17] Are you given treats? Too few or just right? What are your favourites?
“Not enough in my opinion!”
“I get carrots, bonios and usually at the weekend I get a raw bone.”
18] Are you fed a nutritional diet?
19] Is your food moist or dry or both or even the raw meat diet?
“I get moist and dry.”
20] Do you enjoy it or is it boring?
“It’s the best time of my day.”
21] Do you eat it every day, or sometimes refuse to?
“I eat it everyday, in record time, plate is licked clean every time.”
22] Are you allowed to sample your 2 leggeds food?
“Depends what it is and if it’s dog safe – yes I get to try some.”
23] Do you eat your food when you are expected to, or when you wish to?
“I will eat anytime I’m offered food, if I could eat when I wished to I would be very overweight!”
D] Your Personal K9 Stuff
24] Do you have a favourite piece of 2 legged clothing and if so, do they know?
“Hmmm no… I don’t think I do.”
26] Do you deliberately play up at times, just to annoy or worry the 2 leggeds?

28] If so, do you sleep in your bed, or their bed, or the couch or all three and more?
“I sleep on my bed at night, in the evenings I’m on the couch with my people and the cats.”
29] How much alone time or ‘just you’ time do you have?
“Usually about 4 hours during the day if both my people are working, my dog walker comes for me in the afternoon.”
30] Do your 2 leggeds make you dress up?
“I have a Christmas jumper, hoody And I wear bandanas.”
31] Do you actually enjoy it or simply tolerate it because it appears to please them?
“I don’t mind it.”
32] Do you have a friendly vet?
“Yes I love my vet, he fixed my cruciate ligament.”
33] What would be your perfect day?
“It would consist of eating, swimming, eating, walk with friends and them more eating.”
In spite of everything … the manipulations and the training you must subject them to – are they happy that you are there to mentor for them?
“Very happy, Mum tells me I’m her best friend, I feel very special here.”
Finally, in your own words tell us something about both you and your 2 leggeds that the questions haven’t touched on or asked about – something unique …
“I came to my home when I was 11 months old. I was overweight and under walked, I managed to lose 7kg through getting the exercise I needed. I fitted in my new home perfectly, I get on with the cats and with my peoples life’s. My people have met many new friends and it’s all because of me. I was the reason my Mum got her driving licence last year (to take me on more adventures) 10 years after she tried the 1st time. I feel lucky to live here and I wish all dogs got the home they deserved.”
