Liebster Award – Nomination 4

Liebster Award Nomination 4

Acknowledge The Nominating Blogger

My heartfelt thanks first go to  “The Go To Girls Blog”  [Life As We Experience It] for her nomination of the Liebster Award to A Guy Called Bloke, but also, a congratulations to her for her own nomination of this Award.

The Go To Girls Blog is quite charming and covers a host of different topics, but if you wish to get a feel of the blogger l would advise that you check out the post about ‘Goodbye Stanley‘ to read the compassion and love of the writer. As a dog owner l found this post quite relatable, and my philosophy has always been you can tell an awful amount about a person when they talk of their dog and more importantly how they do so.

Rules of the Liebster Award

Rules for Accepting the Liebster Award:

Acknowledge the blogger who nominated your blog.

Answer the questions.

Nominate 11 other new bloggers to encourage them.

Ask them 11 questions

Let them know you have nominated them.

Answer The Questions

1. What is your favourite city in the world?

Mm, well this is quite a big question. I have travelled quite extensively over the years, and have seen many vast and beautiful cities, however this doesn’t request an age for a city so l will take advantage of this and respond with Pompeii.

2. If you could be someone else who would it be?

I am actually more than happy being who l am in truth. For years l didn’t know who l was and so when l did discover me, l decided l wasn’t such a bad fellow after all.

3. What animal do you want to be?

A Wolf.

4. If you could meet anyone from history who would it be?

5. If you could go into space would you?

Oh yes, never mind the final frontier – it would be a full on adventure!

6. iPhone or Android?

Neither, l use an old fashioned model, texts, calls and that’s it.

7. Do you have a hobby?

Yes – writing, reading, cooking, dogs, walking, gaming and photography.

8. Tell me a quote you love.

“Sleep, those little slices of death — how I loathe them.”

― Edgar Allan Poe

9. City slicker or country boy/girl?

Excellent question, l think in truth l am a bit of both – more of a writer adventurer …

10. Who would you die for?

My partner and my dog – if there was no other alternative!

11. If you could do one thing to change the world what would it be?

It would sadly take more than one thing to change this world, because we have utterly destroyed it … one thing would be, remove the people, societies and the populaces. Then perhaps the world as we know it may recover over time.

Nominate 11 Other New Bloggers

I have learned during my short time here and nominating other bloggers that some are shy and retiring concerning these nominations, others feel overwhelmed, others still prefer to remain on the back burner and not receive the limelight, so on this premise, the bloggers l now nominate are being nominated for the following reason …

…. because l like what you do.

If you run an award free site, that’s fine, l STILL like what you do, what you discuss, what you write about and mostly what inspires you when voicing and displaying your creativity to your audience. If you choose to respond or not, will not offend me in the slightest because l STILL like what you do and l am nominating your blog because not only does your current audience like what you do, but l think others may as well.

Treat my nomination purely as a salutation to who you are.

Ps: if you see this post before l have contacted you – well, well done, it’s not me being lazy, it’s me being tired, but l will notify you in the next 18 hours! 🙂

      1. Hahaha, I’m sorry, I just happened to saw the nominations part, and I see my link, thank you so much my friend 😁😊

  1. I think I’d be a wolf too, if I stayed above water. Being a sea creature would be fun too. I wonder what the politics are like down there, hopefully there are none. 😉

Great post and thank you for the nomination! I swear I’m going to sit down and write these soon!

    1. Your welcome. I have visited pomp twice – the first time when l was 14 and back then they really didn’t know just how large the city truly was, the second time when l was 32 and so much more had been excavated it was simply astonishing, and l am hoping to get out a third time to see the incredible work the archaeologists have been doing and still do daily 🙂

  2. Hi Rory, congratulations on your award and thank you so much for nominating me, it’s always an honour. As I’ve just got back from holiday I’l have to decline as I have so much catching up to do, but I’l give you a mention in my Monthly Round-up for March. (Love the response to Q.11, btw – I could have written it myself).

    1. Hey Jane – no problem, my first thought when l nominate is l just want to show my appreciation for the content a fellow blogger writes and creates for its audience. Thanks for the mention in the monthly though 🙂

As to Q11, yes l feel we are already doomed, so anything we do would have to be seriously major.

    1. Excellent answers my friend and once more – congratulations to you. Milo, Gracie, Kucrit may well be interested in carrying out one of our new Feline Katz interviews.

Yes an elephant would indeed be cute, we only have to look upon baby elephants to see just how cute they would indeed be 🙂
