My genuine and sincere thanks go to my friend Barb from Bipolar Barb for nominating A Guy Called Bloke for the Blogger Appreciation Award.
Barb writes about her bipolar, depression and anxiety and the journeys one has to undertake to get not just from A – B, but to get to the end of each day in one piece and peace. Ask anyone, in fact l will tell you first hand, l too in addition to my Aspergers am diagnosed with Bipolar and the treks we have to undertake can be beyond maddening in a world that just doesn’t get it and more importantly seemingly never wants to.
What l love most about Barb and her writing is her positivity about her journey, about getting from the A – B in the best possible and most mentally efficient manner known to Mindkind, yes Mind Kind.
Trust her reading when she tells you that keeping a positive out look and enthusiastic manner with bipolar is no walk in the park, it’s hard work and sometimes if you are lucky, really lucky, it can look easier than it is.
You decide for yourself – check her BLOG out 🙂
My salutations and thanks to both Barb and her blog for my nomination.

Something Positive About Myself?
I try with my writing to be as honest as l can, if that helps someone or makes them smile, then l consider that a bonus. sure, l write for myself – no denying that, but l also write to an audience whom without in many respects this blog would just be my diary, and l am not a diary writer, but l do love to write. Recently someone said l was an advocate for Autism and mental health, and l am not, it’s not me being humble or modest, if l am an advocate, it’s for me. I think sometimes, too often, people forget to put themselves first in their passions, and they fear a form of ostracisation if they don’t put others first – l do care about people, but l firmly believe that seeing as we only have one life, before we can put others before us, we have to be stable within our own environment, our own mental kind our own mindkind. Once we have that established then l believe and only then are we able to gift others something of value.
Readers of my blog/s find something within – that’s me, l am inside my blogs, my personality, my identity and my very own version of life. as said if others can glean something of value there and can relate in whatever style that means to them, then trust me when l say l am happy with that.
Once again, my thanks to Barb, and my congratulations to all the nominees 🙂
