1] Blog Name
3] Blog Age
Nearly four months
3] At what age did you start to write and what was your motivation for doing so?
Well in truth, l first started to paw when l was about a year, but it wasn’t until l was about 7 that l truly found my bark, and furthermore it was literally only late last year that l found that l had things l needed to say.
Motivationally speaking, l guess that would be because l felt that a radical new approach was needed and after reading several books on the subject decided to stop pawting it off any longer and take the plunge to promote the Power To The Bark!
4] Does writing/creativity come naturally to you or do you struggle to invent something inspirational each day/week/month?
Good question, but l think the answer is simple, l would paw every day if l could just get onto a Kompootah before everyone else did! As to whether it is au natural, most of the time yes.
5] How prolific are you in your craft?
I would be very pawlific if l could but sadly l am getting on and the only free time l have observed that l am able to get my pawing done is late at night when Dad and Mummy have gone to bed .. which is all well and good, but l am also usually zonked out as well. My secretary is always busy doing his own stuff, Mummy is just as busy on hers, so l have to wait when l am NOT tired and that is not as frequent as l would like.
6] Are your writings displayed elsewhere or just WordPress? If so where?
Currently only WordPress, but l am in the process of writing my first book and we will have to see how that fares, but the first chapter will be viewable sometime later this month.
7] Do you ever suffer from writers/creators block? How do you combat it?
No, not really, the only block l face is lack of time, sleeping more and getting onto said Kompootah! if l really had to tackle the problem l guess it might just be biting Dad on his ankles!!
8] What is your preferred creative form?
Pawing and Dad’s clickitty’s! My pawtrey is not that brilliant.
9] How do you arrive at your decision to write/create/invent about what you have chosen as a subject for the piece/s?
In truth for me it is very easy, l write about observations, my life, my journey to date – so in essence my story – probably no different to many of the other bloggers here.
10] Do you need an ambience to work with, such as music, quiet, scented candles, yoga, exercise, reading, film or something else?
I like some music in the background and l have quite an eclectic taste [You have to here, as Dad’s taste in music is a little bizarre at times!!] But left to my own devices l like a bit of Meatloaf, Queen, ACDC and sometimes l am quite fond of The Prodigy – always been rather fond of Firestarter! But that can be very hard to listen to at 4am in the morning after Dad finally goes to bed for the night! But sometimes, l deliberately wake Dad up by just easing the volume up, and then when he comes to investigate, l am sleeping in my bed all innocent like!
11] What helps you to create your content?
[People/conversation/family/health/magazines/newspapers/controversy/funny moments/life experiences]
All sorts of things in truth but mostly my life of adventuring.
12] Is your content driven by your journey or your story, or by the journeys and stories of others?
13] Are there any specific things which enable your creative juices to flow more steadily?
[Overtired/insomnia/mental health/eating/drinking/smoking/surrounded by colour/abstract thoughts and thinking]
Some snacks in a dish, peanut butter and music.
14] How long from start to finish would/can your content take you to complete?
Seriously? in this household, it can take weeks to months to get anything done and more so since the secretary started writing more again!
15] Are you pleased with your finished pieces? How do you feel when you receive acknowledgement from another?
Oh l simply love it, more so when other K9rs write – in fact l will introducing very soon my new K9 Interview series to try and run head to head with Dads’ Truly Inspired Series!’
Anything that helps another K9 understand where they should be in so far as position of power in their household, then l am one happy puppy!
Finally, what advice would you award writers or creators looking to express themselves and to then display their works to the world?
Be prepared to make a stand for your K9 rights, Power to the Bark and be yourselves – not the ‘little dawgies’ in the household listening to the usual commands from your 2 leggeds – paw for you, your experiences, your journey, your story – be honest, readers love honesty! [Good ol’ Dad taught me that]
Should any readers like to participate in the Truly Inspired series then please drop me a line direct and l will email you the questionnaire – we are all inspired in some way and others love to read about that, so don’t be shy … email@example.com
